That same night Felix came back from his evening with Fiona, he felt something different than before. He didn't find her so unbearable anymore despite her having some attributes that irked him. He began to enjoy them after a while because it made Fiona, Fiona. His new friend."Hey, brother. Can we talk?"
Felix had knocked on Adrien's bedroom door, waiting for a response back. Felix walked into his room and saw him sitting on the floor, papers scattered all over the floor. He couldn't help but become distracted by the mess that had surfaced throughout the room.
"Hey, Felix! How was your hangout with Fiona?"
Adrien yelled out, finally getting off the floor and smiling widely at his brother. The papers had all sorts of drawings and sketches. Felix was scanning the papers and saw the amazing drawings Adrien had drawn, he was always so fascinated that his own brother was secretly an amazing incredible artist.
"It wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. It was actually a pleasant evening."
Felix spoke, regaining his senses after Adrien snapped his fingers in front of his face.
"That's great, Felix. I'm glad you and Fiona are finally getting along."
Adrien spoke as he pulled out some pajamas from his dresser. Felix sat on the corner of his bed, still distracted by the drawings.
"Who knew it would have to take almost a year for you two to finally become friends."
Adrien joked, walking out of his room and into the corridor. Felix annoyingly rolled his eyes as he caught up with Adrien.
"Well, back then she was obsessed with you. So it was hard to even talk to you both."
Adrien frowned at the remark and remained silent. He didn't know what to say. The twins both quietly walked down to the kitchen to serve themselves a late-night snack. Adrien pulled out some oat milk cartons from their double fridge as Felix grabbed two glasses and set them on the large beige kitchen island in front of them.
"Sorry, Adrien. I didn't mean what I said in the corridor."
Felix apologized, trying to break the tension that he had created earlier.
"No, your right. We were in our own little world when we were together. Which ultimately resulted in our breakup."
Adrien fiddled with his cookie in his hand, reminiscing his relationship with Fiona in his head. Felix simultaneously tapped his fingers on his cold glass, feeling almost guilty for what he had said to his brother.
Felix truly cared about Adrien, he was his brother after all. At first, Felix was upset when Adrien got with Fiona because most of his time went to her, leaving Felix in the background. Felix understood though because it wasn't their fault their relationship took a bigger toll on all their lives than they intended. They never wanted it to become public in the first place. But Gabriel and the Lawrence's insisted on sharing the news, using the relationship to move the trio foreword. If their relationship never became public, they might've still been together now. But they broke up for some unknown reason which resulted in outrage from fans all over. The news of the breakup was all over the place, gossip magazines, news sites, social media but no one knew why. Adrien nor Fiona wanted to reveal the truth about their breakup, resulting in many unanswered questions and hidden resentment from Felix.
"Adrien? We never really talked about what happened with you and Fiona. Was it truly that bad that you couldn't even share it with me?"
Felix asked, clearing his throat and looking down at his half-filled glass. Adrien could feel his heart drop at the question, he looked away from Felix and became silent.
