What should I do?

Kim Taehyungs POV

I got a call from my mom earlier that they have to see me urgently and its about the company. I was now driving towards their house.

I got of the car and walked to the doors. I went inside and saw mon and dad already sitting on the couch.

I went to them greeted them. Dad told me to take a seat.

I could feel the thickness in the atmosphere.

I asked them how they were and they said that they are fine.

Mom started the conversation by telling me that I would have to do something important for the company and that it cant be delayed or declined.

A clot formed in my throat but I stay silent.

She told me that the company may not do well in the future if we decline this offer and we may suffer losses.

I asked them what I had to do, and dad looked towards me and said that,

I have to get married to the daughter of Mr. Park, who is the owner of The Park Group.

I was shocked and somewhat angry, as how could they arrange a marriage without asking me and plus I had a girlfriend, they didn't know about.

I got up and told them that I dont want to get married to someone I dont even know but was cut by my mother.

She told me that she has seen her and she is really beautiful, kind.

I was pissed of because of what was going on and wanted to storm out of there.

Dad got up and told me that I have to do it without any ifs or buts,

or get the company taken away from me after 2 or 3 years.

I was in deep confusion, and shocked plus I didnt even have a choice.

I clearly wasnt going to decline my dad.

The only things that were revolving in my mind were the company, and my girlfriend, Cori.

I asked myself what should I do.

Y/Ns POV

I went up to my room and dropped myself on my bed pulling the comforter over my head.

There was so much going inside my head and yet it seemed like the world stopped revolving.

I was in a dilemma as what I should do?

I thought that should I decline, but felt bad because,

I have never disobeyed dad and yet the company was the only thing my dad had.

With everything going on in my mind I drifted off to sleep.
