Elizabeth was friendly. Too friendly, Y/n thought as she looked at the said woman talking animatedly with Jungkook who seemed to be enjoying her presence.
Y/n felt an unknown feeling burn deep into the pits of her stomach, she felt this sudden urge to pry Elizabeth's hand off Jungkook's arm. She clenched her fists, trying to compose herself and she almost managed to before Taehyung nudged her side.
"I hope you're not too blind to see that this woman is about to take your man away." He teased her.
"My what?" Y/n exclaimed but Taehyung was already walking two steps ahead of her, "Ya, Kim Taehyung! Get back here you--" She ran to catch up with the man who immediately increased his pace when he sensed her coming to get him.
Yeah, I definitely am going to die, He thought to himself as he ran for his life.
Jungkook noticed Y/n tackling Taehyung to the ground as he begged her to let him go and he clenched his fist. He no longer paid attention to Elizabeth who was still explaining the history of the Valley, not that he was even listening in the first place. His attention was focused on his best friend and the love of his life laughing, Y/n had definitely gotten closer to Taehyung after all this time and he felt petty for feeling jealous. Though Taehyung had his own doubts about her, he had never let them affect his friendship with her and Jungkook admired that quality. He trusted Taehyung but he still felt insecure.
His eyes soon met Y/n's whose smile fell immediately and she looked away, causing Jungkook to stare at the back of her head, hurt. He didn’t know why she was ignoring him, at that point he felt desperate to clear the air with her but Elizabeth brought her out of his thoughts.
"Jungkook? Are you listening?"
"What? Oh yeah," He muttered, flashing a fake smile at her though she didn’t notice and continued talking.
Y/n turned slightly to see Jungkook talking to Elizabeth again and she was affected all over again. Had she only imagined the hurt look on Jungkook's face before she had looked away? Shaking her head, she walked into a house with three floors, the only house in the Valley to actually have more than one floor.
Elizabeth guided everyone with their rooms and Y/n noticed Jungkook coming her way for they were the only ones on the third floor beside Jin and Elizabeth. She quickly walked into her room, almost dragging Elizabeth with her and closed the door, sighing in relief.
The other woman in the room looked at her strange behaviour in confusion, cocking a perfect eyebrow though Y/n didn’t bother to clear it up for her. Sighing softly, Elizabeth walked to a cupboard in the corner and opened it, drawing out loads of dresses for Y/n to choose and change into.
Y/n looked at them all, feeling strange. They were pretty simple dresses, nothing too extraordinary. Not that she expected much, she just wanted to feel comfortable. She was about to choose a royal blue dress before her eyes caught onto a dress that Elizabeth didn’t take out.
"Can I wear that?" Y/n pointed to the dress that hung in the cupboard.
Elizabeth looked unsure for some reason. "Eh, sure."
The hesitation in her voice was not missed by Y/n, though she didn’t comment on it.She brought out the said dress and Y/n fell in love with it almost immediately. It was a cloudy white dress with puffy, long sleeves that contracted near the wrists in a band. It had a decent neckline, the only decoration on the plain dress was the gold embroidery that was supposed to circle the waist.
Y/n took the dress in her hands, the material so delicate it could disappear in the air. With a nod, Elizabeth left the room for her to change. Y/n put on the dress and a sigh of content left her lips. All these years, she had never touched female clothing like these, she'd always preferred to wear the clothes appropriate for her to fight. Now that she had finally got the chance to wear the beautiful dress, she felt like a woman. The dress hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her curves and highlighting her skin tone. It was flowy enough to leave room for her to move her legs freely, even kick without getting entangled.
