I woke up to (r/n) jumping on my bed, "ngg, what is it?" "C'mon! It's time for your first day of school!!" I took a moment to process what they said but once it clicked I jumped out of bed and scrambled to get dressed. Once I was dressed I followed (r/n) downstairs and sat at the table with a bunch of other people who were part of my new family. I chatted with all of them and when Lily came downstairs I saw her in the same outfit as the night she found me. "Why are you in that outfit?" "I'm going to patrol around the area during your first day of school just to stay on the safe side. Usually I patrol at night and I try to stay away from the schools but I figured you'd feel better if I was close by on your first day." "Really!? Thanks so much!" "Sure thing kid! That's my job! Now eat up otherwise you're not going to survive through the day." I smiled at Lily then ate my breakfast and went with (r/n) to get our backpacks, once we had everything for school I followed (r/n) downstairs chatting with him on how excited I was, when we got downstairs I saw Lily standing there's it's our lunch boxes, I took mine and then gave her a hug before walking out with (r/n) in the direction of our school. When we got to the school I got a little nervous but calmed down when (r/n) placed their hand on my shoulder and gave me a grin. I smiled back and walked inside with him, when we got inside there were a bunch of other kids but what really stood out to me was a boy with blonde spiky hair and a boy with green curly hair. The reason why they stood out was because one was showing off his quirk making fun of the other while the other looked down as if he was going to cry. I knew Lily was watching the area and decided to intervene because it's something that Lily would do. "Hey you! Leave him alone!" "Or what?!" "Or I'll get a teacher!" "Ooo, the new kid thinks they're tough, how scary." "(Y/n) what are you doing?" "Hmm? Oh it's you, going to stand in my way like your little friend here?" "Yeah, I am, now back off Bakugou." "Tch whatever, c'mon guys let's get away from these extras." I watched as the kid walked away, once he was gone I turned to the green haired boy behind me. "Are you alright?" "WOW, that was awesome! No one's ever stood up to Kachan before!" "Heh thanks, I just don't like to see others get hurt, anyways I'm (y/n) Frost. What's your name?" "I'm Izuku Midoriya!" "That sounds like an awesome name! Hmm but I think a nickname would be more fun! Now let me see...how about Izu?" "I like it! It's a lot nicer than Kachans nickname for me..." "Hmm? What do you mean?" "You see (y/n) Bakugou doesn't care for Izuku and instead he calls him um..." "he calls me Deku." "What's so bad about that?" "Deku means useless..." "Huh? Why would someone ever call somebody that?" "He calls Izuku that because he's quirkless." "....Are you serious!?" "Yeah..." "I ought to give that jerk a piece of my mind, anyway I think it's cool that you're quirkless." "You do?" "Yep! Because that means you can be anything you want to be! And whatever you work hard for makes it all the more special because you didn't 'earn' it with a quirk, you earned it for your pure skill!" "Wow, thank you! No one ever said that to me before!" "It's fine, anyways let's go over with the others so we can get started with class!!" "Ok!"

(Time skip to recess)

I went outside with Izu and (r/n), we played a lot of pretend mostly with heroes. I ended up being the citizen who was held captive by an evil villain which was (r/n) because he has fun pretending to be evil, and my brave hero who saves me was Izu. It was a lot of fun and I got to learn a lot more about heroes. Izu knew a lot of different heroes and was able to recall their quirks which was pretty impressive. "Hey (y/n), I was just wondering, what exactly is your quirk?" "My quirk? Well mine is (y/q) I can basically (describe what quirk does)" "wow! That's so awesome!" "Thanks! Now let's head inside, I'm hungry for lunch!" "Same!"

(Time skip to end of day)

I waved goodbye to Izu along with (r/n) and started walking home. On the way home I saw Lily at a corner, it wasn't a busy neighborhood and according to (r/n) the neighborhood protects us and Lily since she keeps crime out of the area. "Hey kiddos!" "Lily!" I ran over with (r/n) and gave her a hug which she returned. "How was your day today?" "It was great! I got to make a new friend!" "Oh? And what's his name?" "His name is Izuku, but I call him Izu!" "Hmm, and what does Izuku look like?" "He's skinny with green curly hair, green eyes, and he has freckles! And the best part is he's quirkless! I've never met or heard of someone without a quirk, I'm almost jealous because everyone expects great things from people with quirks but he has no expectations except to pass school." "Is that so? And what's so great about that?" "He Can set his own limits! He can strive to be anything he wants and all that hard work makes it so much more rewarding! He's going to become an incredible hero!" "I'm sure he will be. By the way, (y/n) this boy wouldn't happen to be the same one you saved from the blond haired kid now would it?" "You were watching?!" "I was and I'm proud of you for stepping in, and I'm proud of you (r/n) for standing up for your sister. You two are going to be amazing heroes." "Thanks Lily!" "Of course, now why don't you head inside and get changed?" "Ok!"

After that the rest of the night was normal, I hung out with my different siblings, I played video games with Mickey and James, I did homework with (r/n), Sophia, and Akiro, I trained my quirk with Lily and Shadow and it was just an amazing night. After all the excitement I went to bed dreaming about my future with Izu and (r/n).
