Magic beans

"Saturas,do you have any idea how grave the situation is?" Miushi said with a look colder than the planet Irizium. "Yes Master. I have been there myself. There is no doubt. It is real. I had it in my own hands. "In your hands?" Miushi glared at him. In the faint light Saturas could barely see her face.Not that he had the guts to look either.But he was no stranger to the aura she omitted."Oh no,what have I done",he murmured to himself. "Are you ready to pay the price then?" Miushi looked at Saturas in a way that Saturas often compared to with a blank canvas.Only this time, he could see a tint of emotion, something he couldn't really read.He paused for a few seconds and said,"Yes".

"Master! It's moving!" Saturas almost screamed. "Calm down Saturas!You Do not let yourself get freightened. Follow me and we shall bring victory. Miushi took a step back.  This was nothing like they had ever seen. The object in front of them was floating in a liquid that had the most strangest scent." Poison?" Miushi thought to herself. "But it hasn't affected the others. I don't see any magic spells either.Wait, the color. It's different now. A color changing substance? They must have a lot of sorcerers here. Magic that can even deceive my eyes?" Saturas noticed his Master smirk a little. He regretted not coming with more troops. His master insisted that this will be a highly concealed trip from Verina. The castle has many ears. Miushi made sure to not let a single person know of this. But it all has come to this now. The strangest of things is happening all around them.
"Excuse me Miss, is there any problem?" A female approached them. She had a yellow piece of cloth on. The kind they had never seen before. Her legs were covered in what seemed to be a piece of red cloth divided into two parts. It had bizarre patters that Saturas could only think of as magic spells. This lady had given them the substance. Could it be that she is someone who has been sent to kill them? "You're thinking too much Saturas" Miushi said calmly. Saturas calmed down a little bit. If Miushi doesn't sense the danger to be that grave, there is nothing to worry about. "Erm, Miss?" The lady spoke again.  "Nothing at all. We were simply appreciating how beautiful it looks" "Oh thank you!" The lady blushed a bit. "Her guts!" thought Saturas. " Please let me know if you need brownies with your hot chocolate".
"Brawnies....?" Saturas asked surprisingly. In Verina,Brawn is a type of bird that is used to spy on the enemies. "What do you mean by that" Miushi asked. Saturas couldn't tell what she was thinking by her tone.He  could only picture a blank canvas again." Oh it's one type of a dessert. Wait, you have never had a brownie before?" the lady asked with a surprised face". "It is not necessary for us to answer that", said Saturas.
"Ouch, ah you know what,why don't I get you two the fresh brownies we made this morning. You guys look like you're not really from here, I mean a bit weird but,hey, not judging. Don't worry about the price though. It's on the house.I'm the owner of this place too".Miushi didn't utter a single word. Instead she kept looking at the cup in front of her. The cup is just as big as the stone bowls they have for drinking Ireez, a special kind of substance from trees that are over a hundred years. It is a tradition in Verina to drink it before any war. It is told to give them enhanced power and sharpened eyes. There was a object that looked like an animal, brown in color,lifeless. It slowly started melting in the liquid that was hot. And the liquid took a darker color. There were people all around them drinking and eating. She noticed a few of them drinking this. She took the handle of the cup in her hand and took a sip. Saturas tried  to warn her but before he could even try, Miushi went for the second trial. He waited in anticipation. Slowly, he saw her face change. "It's magical,Saturas. Absolutely magical."
