Nat read the note out loud and looked at everyone with tears in her eyes, "How... how did she- she was right there. She just took out a whole army of super soldiers... I don't- how did she get taken? I don't- I don't understand."

Everyone else was just looking around in shock until Bucky said something, "Well, we have- we have to do something, right? We can't just sit here and do nothing. We're the Avengers, we save people. We have to... we gotta tell Fury, we gotta track her, we have to go after them!"

Steve looked at Bucky, "You're not doing anything. We've struggled with HYDRA too many times with you, I'm not risking you getting taken again."

Pietro was looking down and stumbled against a tree, he didn't say anything. Wanda was by him, also not saying anything. Bucky looked at everyone, "Why are you all just standing there? We have to do something! Damn it, all you guys ever do when she's in crisis is stand there! You never put out an effort!"

Sam looked at him, "Don't even try and say that. She's one of us. We all know it. She sure as hell should, we're not just gonna sit here and do nothing but don't try and suggest that we never do anything!"

While Sam was yelling at Bucky, Wanda said quietly, "Stop fighting." None of them heard her, "Stop fighting! Sam and Bucky are right, we have to do something. So get your asses in the Quinjet and help us!" She yelled, making her way to the Quinjet.

Everyone followed and got to work, they were stressing out, confused, and most importantly worried for her safety. About 3 hours later, they got back to the tower and they were able to work with more tracking equipment. In the middle of working, and talking, they were sent a video.

"Here we have subject 109 for experimentation. She is the first subject to have powers from the Power Stone." A familiar voice rang. In the video, they saw Iris whimpering and chained to a chair, a device in her mouth to stop her from speaking. Iris' cries could be heard and they made all of the Avengers shudder, "Avengers... I hope you enjoy this little clip from her torture. It's only just beginning."

Then, they saw a green liquid get injected into Iris' veins and she started screaming in agonizing pain.

Pietro was looking down and whispered, "Shut it off. Please, turn it off."

Wanda and Nat were sitting at the table crying, they couldn't bear to see their best friend that way, the girl that they would dress up, take care of, their little sister... she was being tortured and there was nothing they could do about it. After the signal was lost, Tony quietly said, "Bruce, did you get a trace?"

Bruce sighed and rubbed his face, "No. There was no way- I couldn't."

Bucky slammed his hands on the table and pointed at where the video was, "They did that to me. When I was first taken by HYDRA they did that to me. It was the first of the worst pain I have EVER been in. Then they wiped my memory. Two days after they injected that serum, they wiped my memory. So at the most, we have two days to find her. Two days! And if you guys can't do that in a day and a half then I'm going to the only place I know to go."

"No one is going anywhere until we know where to go. HYDRA is dangerous, we can't just go in blind." Steve said.

"We might have to." Wanda said, wiping her face, "Since HYDRA is so dangerous, and smart, they'll be expecting it. They'll probably be expecting whatever plan we have. Now, I don't know how having no plan will do any better, but it's better than being outsmarted."

Her fellow Avengers exchanged looks, silently agreeing, "Okay, then. What are we going to do?" Pietro asked, saying the first things he's said in 5 hours.

"Track the base, and go in. Three Avengers on each entrance and we go in." Tony said. Everyone exchanged nods.

"Has anyone contacted Fury?" Nat asked. Again, people were silent but exchanged looks basically saying 'no'. She sighed, "Okay, then. Looks like I'm gonna be the woman to tell Nick freakin' Fury that his daughter was taken by HYDRA." Then she left.

...

"She what?" Fury asked, trying to hide the look of hopelessness on his face.

"I'm very sorry, sir. We opened our eyes and the next thing we knew she was gone. The rest are attempting to track her now." Nat informed.

Fury rubbed his face and sighed, "Why the hell didn't I know sooner?" He then reached for a device hidden in a safe in the wall.

"Fury-" Nat started but he cut her off.

"You're probably wondering what I'm doing. You'll know when you look up at the sky." Fury said.

Nat went over to the window in his office and looked outside, seeing what looked like space debris flying into the atmosphere, "What the hell is that?!"

"That is Carol Danvers."

"Who is Carol Danvers and why is she flying?"

"Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel, she goes by many names. Open the window." Fury told her.

Nat opened the window (she was extremely confused) and Carol came flying in, "Fury. Something happened with Iris?" Carol said, out of breath.

"Romanoff, explain." Fury said.

"Again?" Nat asked.

"Yes, again. Now stop making her wait." Fury demanded.

"Okay, okay, sorry sir." Nat said, then she explained the whole situation to Carol.

"So this... HYDRA, where are they stationed?" Carol asked.

"We're not sure yet. That's what we're trying to figure out." Nat told her.

Carol took in a deep breath, "Okay. Can I meet the rest of your team?"

"Of course. I'll take you to them." Nat said, walking out of Fury's office with both Carol and Fury in close pursuit.

...

Nat walked in with Carol and Fury beside her and Steve, Wanda, Thor, Bucky, and Pietro looked over, "Who's this?" Steve asked.

"Carol Danvers. A pleasure." Carol said, shaking Steve's hand.

Peter looked up from the computer he was working on with Bruce, "You're Carol Danvers? Like the Carol Danvers? Iris told me so much about you."

Carol smiled, thinking about her niece, but then Tony looked at Peter and said, "Not the time, kid."

"Sorry, Mr. Stark." He said, going back to the computer with Bruce.

...

"Guys, I got something. It's not very exact but it's a 20 mile radius." Bruce announced, hours after Carol arrived. Only Steve, Carol, Fury, Bruce, and Tony were in the lab, though. The rest were upstairs trying to prepare for the fight ahead.

"Where?" Steve asked, walking over.

Bruce typed a little and then scowled, "Wait... that can't be right." He typed a bit more and looked at Steve in shock.

"What? What is it?" Steve asked, coming over to the computer, "Oh... my... God."
