Sweet sixteen pulled apart my soul.
A pending dream of a life in Seoul.
Stay confused, a storm raging inside.
Wait hoping it would pass-these insights,
For the tears to dry up, the pain to dilute.
Mom says to be firm, tough and fight.
She can't know my heart's strenuous sight.
All she recall is a fading phobic memory ,
Of my old self facing it raw, last January.
I find my reflection- unknown.
I fancy this new dream in a distant self.
My mind is feeding my blood and soul.
Desperately crave for past faith in shelf,
Hidden beneath the pile of grim as a whole.
Now you made me fall in love with me eternally.
For the real me revived what once was mine.
For the phoenix in me fly high after your last rites.
