"Attorney Smith, Zylex called. Hindi mo daw sinasagot phone mo" my secretary informed me while I was busy reading my cases. I chuckled and dialed my phone.

The other line picked up after a few ring "You are late" pagalit na salita sa akin sa kabilang linya. I chuckled "I am sorry, honey. Busy lang ang babe mo. You know I am working right?" I could hear him pouting

"Uuwi na din ako in a bit. Malapit na din naman ang out ko. Do not worry okay?"

I looked at the time and I checked  my phone to see Alexis' text

From: Alexis

Kita tayo later. Miss na kita. I'll wait for you at the coffee shop near your firm. Bawal mo ko tanggihan impakta ka

I chuckled demanding talaga ng babaeng to. Bumaba na ako ng building at agad ako pumunta sa sasakyan ko at nag drive papunta sa coffee shop. Mahirap na baka ipakain sakin ni Alexis yung stiletto ko pag hindi ako pumunta.

As soon as I went inside the coffee shop I saw her waving at me. Pinuntahan ko kaagad siya. I saw her wearing her jacket again. Napakunot agad ang noo ko.

"Why are you wearing that again" pointing at her jacket. She smiled at me and urged me to sit down. Pagkaupo ko nag order ako kaagad ng iced coffee at tinignan si Alexis.

"Spill. Bakit mo gusto makipag kita sa akin?" her smiled faded and I saw how her eyes were filled with sadness. She began crying. I panicked a bit at agad ko siya pinuntahan at niyakap.

"Be strong. Please be strong. Tayong dalawa nalang yung andito ngayon. Hindi pa magaling si Stephanie" I sobbed

What happened to us. Lahat kami, nasaktan, sinasaktan. Bakit nangyayare sa amin ito? I could feel her shoulder vibrate as she cries hard.

Nang tumahan siya ay kinausap ko siya, "Alexis, file for annulment. I will be your lawyer. I will free you from him" I urged her, but she moved her head in negotiation.

"No, Fio. Ayaw ko iwanan si Sky. He needs me"

"That is bullshit!"

I saw how her eyes widened

"Soliel, he keeps on hurting you! Emotionally and Physically!"

She keeps on shaking her head "Please Fiona. Hindi niya ako kilala. And it is my fault kung bakit siya na aksidente. Kung sana, kung sana naniwala lang ako sa kanya" she continued sobbing

I hugged her tight "I will be here for you. Just like how you were there for me, 6 years ago"

"Pregnant?" sigaw ni Alexis "Tangina Fiona Alyssa, you are what?!" napayuko na lamang ako. I never saw Alexis this mad before. I do not know if she's mad or confused

Tinakpan ko ng mga kamay ko ang aking mukha, I sobbed.  I felt someone hugged me. I saw Alexis and Stephanie hugging me

"You are not a failure, Fiona. I know your parents would understand. They won't be disappointed, okay?" Stephanie whispered into my ear as she rubbed my hair

"Nagpabuntis ka at the age of 21. Punyeta Fiona Alyssa Samaniego Smith!" i was trembling as I listen to my father. Mom was crying at the corner, Stephanie and Alexis wanted to come here pero pinigilan ko sila. Ayaw ko na madamay sila sa galit ni daddy sa akin.

Months passed by, natanggap na din naman nila mommy and daddy ang baby ko without asking me the father. I guess they respected my request na wag nalang sabihin.

I  was transferred to home schooling in the middle of the semester, hindi siya pwede pero because of the power my parents hold, and siguro dahil I am running for magna cumlaude ay pumayag na din ang school.

During my graduation party, I had no choice but to attend. My mom forced me, well talked me into attending.

"Mommy please. They will know na buntis ako" she smiled at me "So? Anak, you're 21, pregnant, but you still made it. You graduated, magna cumlaude of your batch. And, your dad and I are still proud of you. We accept your baby. That's all that matters"

It was hard not minding all their stares at me and my big belly. Luckily, Alexis and Stephanie were there. Both of them stayed with me.

"Matalino nga, disgrasyada naman" I tried so hard ignoring the remarks of a random stranger. Siguro mga ka close friend ng family namin kaya andito.

I was shocked when Stephanie went near her "Excuse me. If you're here to talk ill about someone, the doors are open. Leave" Stephanie's face was stiff.

"Aba't sino ka para pag sabihan ako?" the old lady challenged

"My name is Stephanie Lilian Gomez, the youngest daughter of the owners of the Gomez group of companies and the youngest granddaughter of the President, and I will never tolerate you humiliating my bestfriend at her own graduation party!"

"Guards, kindly escort this lady and her company outside" dagdag ni Alexis

"Kung hindi dahil sa inyo ni Stephanie, wala ako dito ngayon. Wala kami" I kissed her cheek

"By the way, the reason why I wanted to talk to you" she wiped her tears

Umupo na din ako sa upuan ko

"He's here" nanigas ako sa sinabi niya

"What do you mean. Hindi ba he left for Spain years ago? You said for good" I stuttered

"I accidentally saw Sky's documents. Magpaparenovate siya ng airlines and I saw na he will have a meeting with Jolo next week. I assumed andito na siya" I paled with what Alexis told me. Alam ko na mahahanap niya kami. Alam ko na malalaman niya na may anak siya sakin.

I felt Alexis' hands on mine "Andito lang ako, Fio. I will always be here for the both of you" she smiled at me and I nodded

Pagkauwi ko ng bahay agad naman ako sinalubong ni mommy. She kissed my cheek "Hija, you remember your Tita Rose hindi ba?"

I stilled "Y-yes mommy. Why?"

"She called me after how many years! Nakauwi na daw sila galing Spain" mom sounded excited

"I can't wait-"

"Mommy, I'm tired na po e. Una na ako sa room ko"

Hindi ko na hinintay ang sagot ni mommy at agad naman ako pumasok sa kwarto ko. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by my angel.

"Hi there love" he greeted me

I chuckled and scooted down para magkasing tangkad kami and I pinched his nose "Mommy's home sweety"

He hugged me tight and kissed my cheek "Welcome home mommy!"

Yes. I am home.

My son, Zylex Ashton Bustamante, is my home
