After a while of walking, they had eventually made it back to an urban area. The deserted streets made Felix feel quite uneasy, but he hadn't commented on it. They had found their way to one of the numerous houses around, and Felix had been a little surprised to see them enter without a second though.

("Is this your home?"

"Hideout."

"What's the difference?"

"It's weird to call a place home when it used to be someone else's.")

"Here, this ought to do the trick for now... We'll go and get you some clothes that fit later." A small frown graced Hyunjin's features as he held the shirt in front of Felix, noticing how it seemed to engulf his form even though he wasn't even wearing it. "Did they not feed you in the facility?"

Felix shrugged. "They did, but... we ate to stay healthy, not to be well-fed."

Compacted cubes of nutrients, nutritious broth, nutrients fed in tubes – it was always either tasteless or disgusting and, while it kept the body alive, it didn't always make the hunger go away. Felix had grown used to it, though.

Hyunjin nodded, a tad grimly. "We'll eat soon. Are you okay with changing on your own?"

After a moment of hesitation, Felix nodded in agreement. Hyunjin offered him a small smile before walking out and closing the door behind him and, for the first time since he'd been rescued, Felix found himself alone.

And yet, somehow, he didn't feel as lonely anymore.

As expected, the clothes were really big on him. He figured he was a little underweight, considering how easily Hyunjin had carried him for hours on end, but he didn't expect it to be that bad. In the end, he was forced to hold onto the pants so they wouldn't just slip right off, which was admittedly a little embarrassing.

After a moment of hesitation, he also decided to leave his bandages on. He had rolls of bandages covering most of his arms and also his legs and his thighs. He didn't want to take them off until he was certain everything underneath had healed properly, not wanting to catch a random disease from an open wound.

Once ready, Felix awkwardly made his way out of the room. Thanks to Hyunjin carrying him, he had managed to regain some energy and, while his steps were a little shaky and he had to lean against the wall to steady himself, he managed to walk on his own.

He carefully made his way downstairs, taking his time so he didn't accidentally slipped and hurt himself even more. He was panting a little by the time he finally returned to the ground floor, no longer used to exerting so much energy.

"Felix!" It was Hyunjin who noticed him first, grinning wildly as he waved at him from the kitchen. "Minho made some broth for you!"

The freckled boy nodded mutely, slowly making his way over. He tripped more than once on the oversized pants, but managed to reach them unscathed. Once he reached the counter, he heaved himself onto one of the stools, and he felt his mouth water as the nice smell of broth wafted over him.

How long has it been since I've last eaten some actual food...?

"There you go."

"T- thank you."

The first mouthful was heavenly, and the second brought tears to his eyes. He took the time to savor every single spoonful of it, and his two saviors were nice enough not to comment on the few tears that rolled down his cheeks.
