On the night of the new moon, in the month of September, a little girl with scarlet red eyes and jet black hair was found in the woods of the living dead, or so it was said to be.
The moment one of the villagers had even laid a hand on the child, the villager was burned to ashes.
Everyone else felt threatened and ran away. All but one young man.
He had platinum blonde hair and scarlet red eyes as well. He was an ordinary man. But, he was a human treated like that of a monster.
The young man approached the girl when suddenly, she gasped saying "don't come any closer! You'll burn just like everybody else..!"
The young boy flinched and took a step back, took a deep breath and asked "Are you lonely? You're lonely aren't you?"
"What..?" She asked confused. "I know how you feel. You're not the only one forced into isolation." He replied.
The girl begun laughing as she stood up.
"Forced into isolation you say? I chose to be isolated. Never in my life had I ever had a friend, nor will I ever need one." She sad confidently as she turned around and began to walk away.
"Then I'll be your friend!" He exclaimed.
".. What?"
"If you are lonely then I'll be you friend. I'll take care of you and we can live together."
There was a short silence between the two when suddenly the girl laughed loudly and said "You still don't get it do you? If you touch me you'll burn to ashes. Just like that guy." She said, pointing at the remaining ashes of the dead villager.
"If you're beginning to understand then will you be so kind as to leave me alone now?"
"If I left you alone that would make me feel insecure and guilty. I don't want to feel that way." He said confidently then continued, "I don't know if you're as innocent as your face looks, but I know you have a good heart.. Somewhere in there."
The girl flinched but didn't reply.
"If you don't want to make an innocent boy sad, come with me... Please..?"
She kept quiet for several seconds and eventually agreed with a sour face.
They walked deeper into the woods, through a fog.
[Several hours later]
"When are we gonna get to this so called 'house' of yours exactly?" She complained, pushing aside branches of trees.
"We're almost there. Just wait for it." He said calmly, not even panting. Then continued: "Ah! I think we passed it already.."
"WHAT?!?!"
