Not even the company of black coffee and classical music could chase out the emptiness that settled throughout Capricorn's mansion. He thought that the soothing dark taste would push his fears and worries out of mind and the pianoed tunes would put him at ease. A little solace found in his favorite drink and favorite music. Yet it was unfounded.

Late nights were hard enough, dealing with a whole train station of thoughts that only fueled the guilt of his decisions and weighed heavily on his mind. He had an intimate relationship with loneliness, which took control of him mentally and physically. Alone with his thoughts, his plans, and the actions of what he had done. There were things Capricorn couldn't reveal to others, no matter the level of trust he had with them.

His status as Lathive's nuclear power plant's, Celestike Services, CEO had also made him a very successful man. With his success, a personal loneliness and misery had been forged. Other people may have been having the time of their lives with the money he makes, but people were also made aware of the distance between themselves and him, often putting him on a pedestal.

He didn't dislike it, no. Sometimes it was amusing and he thought that this newfound respect and admiration from others was deserving, given how much he has done. At other times, he wanted to be treated as an equal.

Capricorn's brow furrowed, thinking about the last person he had interacted with before coming back home. A long time friend of his, Virgo. While his feelings for her had developed and deepened into love, he knew that she returned the feelings. Yet when he had asked her to be his girlfriend, Virgo had brought up the complications of a worker dating her boss. There was no denying the attraction and how well they both worked together- an uninterrupted tandem producing the utmost efficiency and balance of both individuals. Their personalities and schedules matched. Though Capricorn's high position had been an obstacle..a disturbance.

It wasn't only that. Virgo had her own ambitions to follow. Wanting to branch out and create her own business and become successful herself. It was only another aspect that Capricorn deeply admired about her, but he wondered if a relationship between them would still work.

He wasn't sure why he had asked her to join his organization, the Truthseekers, when she had something big to strive for. Perhaps it worked as a tactic to have them work close together and within his reach. It was strange. Capricorn never thought himself as the clingy type. He inwardly cringed- no, he wasn't clingy at all. He'd just miss her company when she would leave his nuclear power plant company to do her own business.

Truth was, the Truthseekers needed someone like Virgo in the organization. She was adept and mentally flexible, able to solve problems and figure out and recall the information needed. Virgo was also hardworking and an excellent planner, someone he needed on his side when it came to what the organization was before- a group with people sharing similar tastes and goals. While Capricorn had relayed and put down the groundwork, Virgo had whipped the people into shape and suggested some very tempting ideas and additions he didn't think of yet.

Raising the mug up to his mouth, Capricorn drank the black coffee. Though it should've woken him up and energized him, all he felt was a deep weariness settled on his body. His mind and body were mismatched; one part continuous thinking and wanting to continue these thoughts and the other too tired from the day's events and wanting to go to bed.

Why was he even thinking about the Truthseekers? All he wanted was a little peace and to indulge himself in his mansion. Ah yes, it was the loneliness that has brought up these thoughts. Brow furrowing, Capricorn looked down at his mug. It was almost finished.

Perhaps that's why he started the Truthseekers. His CEO position made him rather..lonely, as he was quite considered quite young to already be so successful and wealthy. He didn't flaunt his status and money like other successful people, instead opting to keep it down and live a quieter, humble life.
