"The first feeling I have ever had was with my husband, Derek. I was young I thought nobody on the planet could love each other more than we loves each other. Boy was I wrong." Meredith said, while laughing a little. "At first glance Jo and Alex didn't seem like the perfect couple, they just seemed so different. But these too managed to fall in love with each other against the odds."
"And with that we are gathered here today, on this ferry boat to witness the love these to have for each other."
"Alex Karev do you take Jo Wilson to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Meredith asked, Alex who had a big smile as if he just won the lottery. "I do." He said, while lovingly looking at Jo. Meredith smiles as she turned to Jo.
"Jo Wilson, do you take Alex Karev to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I super do." Jo said, smiling as she looked into Alex's eyes. Meredith smiled filled with real happiness, the first feeling of happiness sense Derek died. "Then with the power invested in me, by the internet. I pronounce you husband and wife." She paused for a second smiling. "You may kiss the bride." And that he did.
Jo and Alex remained married, happily for years, of course that's a story for another time.
