I scanned the room, shifting my gaze awkwardly, my skin feeling uncomfortable with all these eyes on me.

"Hi." I managed to get out.

They kept staring at me.

Oh my fucking god. I'm not another goddamn species.

I saw an empty spot to sit in the corner of the room, and I started to move towards it.

"L/N, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?"

I whipped my head around to see one of the Coaches glaring angrily at me.

"Did I tell you where to sit?"

"No." I retorted.

"Then why did you go to sit down?"

"Because I wanted to. I don't know about you, but I don't like standing around for an hour. I might as well sit down everyone else."

The coach looked shocked, and then huffed out a breath. "Go sit down then."

They took us outside. I was walking around the gravel track, searching.
