The DVIL of Remnant

Volume 3-Chapter 13: Go. . .

Vale was in complete chaos. Grimm ran around and the rogue robots shot anything they could see. But at Beacon, the only thing that was seen was the giant Wyvern flying around the tower. And on the broken tower, Cinder and (Y/n) stood in front of each other, no one moving. 

"Finally, being able to talk to you one-on-one for the first time in years. Do you like the show?" Cinder asks with a grin.

"What do you take me for, Fall? I pride myself to gain power, but not out of enjoyment, but because of need. If that is what you think I am, then all I taught you was useless." (Y/n) says to Cinder.

"No. You taught me one thing that was true, "The world is cruel, so those who suffer must triumph above those who don't." Why is it that you can't accept it now? Have you gotten weak?" Cinder asks.

"No. I am not the one that has stolen someone's power to boost my own." (Y/n) says, making Cinder mad.

Cinder summons a fireball and shoots it at (Y/n), but he takes out one of Penny's swords and blocks it.

"The robot's sword? How pitiful of you to use something of someone that wasn't even living." Cinder says.

"She was more of a living being than you could ever achieve." (Y/n) says.

Cinder sends a stream of fire at (Y/n), but he dodges it by teleporting to the left. (Y/n) sends eight Summoned Swords at Cinder, and she blocks them with veils of fire. (Y/n) takes out Penny's other sword and dashes at Cinder. Cinder summons her swords and stops (Y/n) from hitting her, but (Y/n) goes over to Cinder and kicks her back. Cinder is sent forwards but she stops herself before going any further.

(Y/n) begins sending rapid slashes at Cinder, but she blocks with her two swords. (Y/n) throws Penny's swords into the air, capturing Cinder's attention, and letting him unsheath Yamato and strike Cinder back. (Y/n) sheathes Yamato and grabs Penny's swords as he runs at Cinder. But suddenly, a large blast of wind pushes (Y/n) and damages him a bit more than he had expected.

(Y/n) flips onto his feet and puts Penny's swords away as he brings out Beowulf. Cinder looks at (Y/n) before putting her swords away and covering her fist and legs in fire. The two dash at each other as both their fists connect, causing a large hot air to go around them. Cinder throws a right hook at (Y/n), but he ducks under it and then rises with a roundhouse kick. Cinder blocks it with her forearm, but she is pushed to the side due to the force.

Cinder grabs (Y/n)'s fist and throws a punch right at his face. The punch connects and it makes a slight burn mark. (Y/n) looks back and kicks Cinder in the face and then throws an uppercut that sends Cinder into the air. (Y/n) teleports above her and goes for an axe kick, but Cinder blocks the kick with her hands and then throws (Y/n) to the floor.

(Y/n) pushes himself back on his feet as he blocks a kick from Cinder, who came down from the air. Cinder jumps back as she sends a fireball at (Y/n), but he intercepts it with one of his Summoned Swords. The fireball explodes in a great fire, letting Cinder push it at (Y/n). (Y/n) charges back one of his fists before he punched the fire, making it disperse into the air.

(Y/n) teleports in front of Cinder and goes to punch her, but she aims her hands at him and sends a blast of fire. (Y/n) blocks his face with his arms but he is pushed back, and before he goes far away he kicks Cinder. (Y/n) gets up as slowly due to his arms burning, and Cinder moves her jaw around due to the kick.

"How does your Aura keep going?" (Y/n) asks, making Cinder chuckle.

"The Maiden powers boost all of that, (Y/n). I'm not as weak as I was before. Your attacks-!" Cinder says as she's interrupted by being punched right in the face.
