We are now officially in California! The weather is great here! I tried to convince my mom too let me skip school, but it didn't work. So now I have to start my first day of school tomorrow and I'm so not ready for it, but for now me and mom are unpacking some boxes and I'm also decorating my room today too! Last night we got our kitchen unpacked and my room is decorated but it's definitely not done! But on a bad note I have my first day of school today! The worst thing ever is starting a new school during the middle of the year, I will literally be an outsider forever! Hopefully i can at least make one new friend
today.

Mom: Alright honey you have a great first day I love you!
Bethany: Okay mom I'll try, Love you too!
I am so dreading this first day!
Mary( the nice girl in school): OMG hi you must be new! I would know because i've never seen you before and I'm part of the welcome committee! So welcome!
Bethany: Thank you for welcoming me! I wasn't sure how if i even wanted to come to school today cause i didn't wanna be the new girl who gets picked on all the time!
Mary: Oh no ALMOST everyone here is super nice!
Bethany: Well that's good!
Mary: Yep! Listen I know your the new girl and all but I think we can be very good friends! Would you like to be my friend!
Bethany: OMG yes of course! I have hoping I could make a friend today! Maybe you might wanna come to my house after school and catch me up on everything since i'm new?
Mary: Yes, I would love that!
Bethany: Great, we can walk to my house after school!
Mary: Sounds like a plan!
Bethany and Mary stuck together the rest of the day and after school they went to Bethanys house.
