Grookey: That's right. So, without further ado, our story is entitled "Sonic & Pokémon and the Secret Rings."
Dracovish: The plot is that Sonic, Pikachu, Ash's Pokémon, and Goh's Pokémon race against the clock to find seven enchanted rings with the help of a mysterious genie.
Pikachu: Let's begin the story, shall we?
Dragonite: Yeah!

Goh: What a day of researching Pokémon.
Ash: You said it!
Grookey: Goodnight, fellas!
Everyone went to sleep.
Sonic: 😴
???: Um...
Pikachu: 😴
???: Hmph! Hey, wake up!
Pikachu: Whazzit?!
Sonic: 🥱 Boy, is it that late already?
Pikachu: What time is it? Hmm? What's up with this ring?
???: You two are the blue hedgehog and the Pokémon.
Sonic: Ahh... what the...!
Pikachu: It's a genie! And we've freed it. Sonic, you and I will get three wishes.
Shahra: I am Shahra, the Genie of the Ring.
Pikachu: 10,000 more years later and this genie would get such a terrible pain on her neck.
Sonic: Where did you hear that?

Sonic: Don't think I've watched that movie or read the book.
Shahra: What? You've got to be kidding me! It's the best story of all the Arabian Nights!
Pikachu: Make that 2nd best... What in the world?
Sonic: The pages are blank!
Pikachu: It's like it never happened yet.
Shahra: Our world... The world of the Arabian Nights is vanishing.
Sonic: Vanishing? But how?
Shahra: This is the work of an incredibly evil spirit... the Erazor Djinn.
Pikachu: Erazor... Djinn?
Shahra: Yes. He used his evil magic to become even more powerful. He could not bear to simply remain in the book any longer. And so he has begun to set the inscriptions free, absorbing the power of the book itself.
Sonic: Power of the book?
Shahra: If our world ceases to exist, then not only will those stories be silenced forever, but the Erazor Djinn will then be unleashed into your world.
Pikachu: You gotta be kidding me! Me, Ash, and Goh are researching Pokémon in many different regions.
Shahra: That's why I need you two to stop him... You two must stop the Erazor Djinn. Only you two, the blue hedgehog and the Pokémon, can do it.
Sonic: Hmm... So, this guy needs someone to put him in his place, does he?
Pikachu: OK, what the heck! We accept! But this whole thing is just something out of a storybook, right?
