Reader's POV

Harry sat on his bed, Cedric was currently in the bathroom preparing for their date.

I looked in the large mirror that sat in the corner of our dorm and was trying to flatten my hair.

"Just stay flat," he uttered in an annoyed tone.

"Huh?" There was a light click and Cedric walked out, looking hot as hell.

"Oh, I'm talking... To my hair." he looked away, embarrassed.

"Ok." He sounded slightly weirded out so Harry just sprinted to the bathroom.

That was awkward, he thought to himself as he blushed profusely.

"I'm ready," he walked out ten minutes later and walked to the door.

"Finally. Let's apparate," Cedric said.

"Ok but we have to leave the school first, you can't apparate inside of Hogwarts."

"I know." He stated.

We walked to where the carriages were stored and held hands.

"You ready to apparate?" Cedric asked glancing over at harry

"Let's go," he answered.

Somewhere, up high, the stars twinkled, and the moon shone, but they were obscured by the ethereal veil of fog cast across the London cityscape. Rushing hurriedly, the wind hissed and beat at the windows of homes. Houses were draped in the new-fallen snow; a white canvas. The trees had shed their last scarlet tears over the warm and pleasant summer – lying bare in the face of winter's wrath. Lampposts glowed in the living darkness, coating the alleys and streets with a faint golden light that pierced through the fog.

"Woah," Harry said as he watched his breath float out of his mouth, he hadn't been to London in so long he forgot what it actually looked like, especially at night.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Cedric said, putting him and Harry's connected hands in his long jackets' pocket. Harry blushed at the gesture and looked up at Cedric smiling.

"What should we do?"

"Leave that to me, come on,"

Cedric pulled Harry along to what looked like a big Ferris wheel made of glass, the London eye.

After waiting for a while they both climbed into a compartment and waited for a bit

"Are you scared of heights?" Cedric asked as he sat down.

"No and I hope you aren't," Harry replied sitting next to him.

There was a sudden jolt as the massive wheel started to turn, making Cedric cling onto Harry's arm.

"I thought you weren't afraid of heights?" Harry laughed.

"I'm not it just shocked me that's all,"

"Mm right," Harry said, making Cedric frown.

He got up to look at the view. Everything looked so small from up there, the once-massive building looked like a massive blur of lights and figures, like tiny red blue yellow and green stars. He felt a strong arm around his waist and he relaxed back into Cedric. This was one of his favorite moments with him so far. All the arguments and problems seemed to evaporate into the cold London air. They then enjoyed a round of the city, taking in the surreality.
