Third's Person POV

Maruko carries Rika bridal style while he searches for a river. On his way he keeps his serious face on.

"M-maruko-sama?"  Rika whispered with her eyes half open.

"Shut up." He replies shortly.

Rika then began teary and she started crying. After that she brings her hands to Maruko's neck and hugs him.

"I-I'm scared." She said while hugging him.

Maruko clenches his jaws with raging eyes. Right after that he found the river and decided to put Rika's bleeding body down.

"N-neji-san...." Rika whispered audibly while watching the sky with her eyes still half open.

Hearing that makes Maruko's head turned to her while he was soaking his towel to wipe Rika's wounds.

"What's with him." He asked with sharp eyes.

"He..." Just after that Haru landed besides them and shows the earth scroll that he got. Maruko then smiles happily and proceed to wipe Rika's wounds.

"I found two scrolls at the purple haired girl's pocket. I gave the heaven scroll to Neji." Haru explained with cheery face while helping out Maruko to wipe Rika's body.

"Jeezz what's with Neji, why do you all keep calling him." Maruko complains while rolling his eyes.

Rika smiles in the thoughts of the brown haired boy. She then closes her eyes while waiting for Maruko to heal her wounds.

"Dude, he's the one with Rika while we were gone and he's the person most contributed in protecting Rika." Maruko's eyes twitch while he put on a straight face.

"Wait how do you know? You were passing out with me... Wait a minute! You're using that jutsu again don't you?!" Maruko screamed at Haru with fangs and angry eyes.

"Jeez, I just used the reading mind jutsu for this once, I was inspecting everyone and picking out who should we he-lp... Ouch!!" Rika reached her hand to Haru's ears with her eyes closed, while the raven haired boy clasped his hands.

"Sorry sorry sorry Rika please forgive me!!" He begged while Rika's hand keeps on twitching his ears.

"Don't read my mind again okay?!" She said. But then she opens her eyes and stopped twitching his ears.

"You said that you gave the heaven scroll to Neji, right?" Rika asked while Haru turned his face towards Maruko in horror. Meanwhile the blonde boy just keeps focusing on cleaning and treating the wounds.

"Didn't he own the heaven scroll too? So now he has 2 heaven scroll?" Rika continued asking. Maruko then realizes Haru's face changes and now he tilted his head.

"What's up?" Maruko asked.

Haru sighed then he looked at Rika's eyes.

'Sorry Neji, please don't kill me.' He thought.

"Actually Neji owned the Earth scroll from the start. At first when you tell him that you owned the heaven scroll he was about to fight you and snatch the scroll, but then for some reason he changes his mind and decided to lie, telling you he has the same scroll to avoid fighting with you." Maruko and Rika's eyes widened while their eyes locked at Haru's.

"I can't believe that selfish person did that." Maruko blurted and applying bandages to Rika's open wounds.

"Hey! He's not that selfish." Rika defend Neji meanwhile Maruko just rolls his eyes.

"Actually all I know he is a selfish, cold, and arrogant person. Does he somehow likes Rika~" Haru playfully sang the last part. But not long after both of the Harunes face turn straight with their bright pink eyes piercing through his brown eyes.
