A few days had passed since then. Izuku had gotten a lot of praise from classmates and teachers, which was a good thing as it meant he was gaining their trust. He also heard that Toga and Twice managed to take a look around the base and get the drug while he was fighting Overhaul, which, again, was a good thing. And the weekly meetings were discontinued as well. Aizawa thought that last fight had proven him trustworthy, however, one screw-up and he'll have to start from zero again.

The question now is what's next, as he hadn't gotten any orders yet. He was in his dorm room, sitting on his bed and scrolling through social media on his phone. It was a weekend day and he didn't have much to do. Eventually he decided to get dressed and head down to the common room. He wasn't wearing anything too fancy, just a white shirt, a pair of jeans and a blue hoodie. Downstairs he was met with a surprise.

"Eri! I thought it'd be forever till I'd get to see you again!"

As much as Deku wanted it to be fake, he couldn't help but feel a little bit emotional when he said that.

He knew what it is like to lose your parents and be abandoned, and sure, he knew Eri's situation wasn't the same, but at the same time he couldn't imagine - no - he didn't want  to imagine what the poor girl must've been through. He was relieved that she was in a safer position now.

"She can't stay in the hospital forever, and she has nowhere else to go too..."

Izuku looked at Aizawa.

"...so we're going to take care of her here at U.A."

Izuku smiled and nodded, the rest of his day went pretty normal from there.

He talked with Ochako, watched some anime, had tea with Yaomomo, Played uno with Todoroki, Iida, Tsu and Ochako and also argued for one hour with Kaminari about how the sun is actually a planet inhabited by mosquito aliens (seriously how does that guy have such weird fantasies?)

That evening he was outside sitting on those little stairs by the entrance, not really thinking about much until he heard footsteps.

"Hey, nerd"

He didn't need to look up to see who's talking.

"I still don't like you,..."

Yea no shit, Izuku thought he already knew what was coming."

"but if you're going to be a hero now... Then you better train your ass off. I'm going to beat you alright, and I don't want my rival to be a weak little shit."

Izuku looked up, not really knowing what to say, but then he nodded.

"Deal."

And just like that Katsuki left, leaving Izuku quite pleasantly surprised. Midoriya really thought he would start yelling again.

It was weird, for the first time ever, he felt kind of interested in these people. He liked hanging out with Todoroki, Iida, Ochako ad Tsu. Momo was nice and Jirou was pretty cool. Kaminari was a bit weird at times but an overall fun guy. Part of him couldn't wait to spend time with them, but all changed when he realised it would be over soon.

That night he met up with Toga in a warehouse. After the fame and praise he got from beating Overhaul he had to be more careful about where and when he'd meet up with them.

"The plan is simple" Toga said

"All Might won't be much of a problem as he's gotten weaker, his successor however will cause issues."

Izuku nodded.

"You need to use this to take care of him."

Toga showed Izuku a needle, there seemed to be some sort of the drug inside it.

"It's the quirk eliminating drug from the yakuza, I got you two of 'em incase things were to go wrong."

Toga handed Izuku the needles, who then put them in his backpack.

"Goodluck"

"thanks"

The two said their goodbyes and left, though on his way home Izuku started to get a little confused. Was this really the right way to go?...
