Chapter 1 (Falling for You)

(Shadow's P.O.V)
I was chilling at my House and I heard a knock at the door so I got up from the couch and walked to the door and opened it and saw the faker "Hi shadow!" Sonic said "What do u want faker?" I said in my usually harsh tone "well Egg Head is attacking the city u wanna help me stop him?" The Faker said "hmph sure" I said crossing my arms "Ok see ya there shad's" Sonic said running away I close my door and I pull out the green chaos emerald and shouted "Chaos Control!" And I a pear in the town the first thing I saw was Sonic attacking some robots I looked up and saw... Infinite 'wow h-he's hot... Wait what did I just think!?!?' I thought 'ugh I think I need more sleep..' I thought shaking the thought off.. I ran around defeating Eggheads robots left and right but I noticed Infinite has been just staring at me.. It was a bit creepy. But I didn't pay much attention to it.. Then I saw Infinite and Sonic fighting.. I looked from a far and saw that the faker was actually winning then I noticed the ruby was cracked I got angry for some reason I saw Sonic kick Infinite down making him fall to the ground when I saw that my blood boiled in anger so I teleported in front of Infinite fighting the faker..

(Infinite's P.O.V)
I was waiting for more pain but it didn't come I looked up and saw... Shadow he protected me.. I blushed a bit under my mask after he was done fighting Sonic he turned to me and walked to me and bent down to my level I scooted back a bit kind a afraid he noticed and got up and something that caught me off guard was him picking me up "w-what are u-u doing!?" I said surprised "Hmph helping you..." He said I blushed more under my mask.. "...." I just stayed silent my eyes felt heavy I tried to stay awake but I feel asleep in shadows arms for some reason I felt safe and calm... And idk why...

Few hours later

(Shadow's P.O.V)
I left the Jackal in the spare bed room up stairs I am on the couch right now thinking what I just did.. I saved the one I hate most.. I blushed at the fact he didn't try to get away its like he accepted it.. What is this feeling that I have... My heart goes really fast when I'm around him.. Is t-this l-love..? 'No it cant be love I'm the ultimate life form' I thought I sighed and got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen a made food for the jackal I walked up to the jackals bedroom and opened the door and saw he was awake without his mask on he flinched and put his mask back on.. I walked to the bedside table and placed the food down then he spoke.. "W-why did u save m-me I thought u hated me...?" He said in a glitchy kind a calm voice "I don't know...." I said but what he said caught me off guard "thank you shadow.." He said I nodded and left the room but peaked through the crack in the door I saw him take off his mask I blushed at his face.. 'H-hot...' I thought I turned away and went to my bed room and fell asleep..

The next day

(Infinites P.O.V)
I yawned as a I woke up and got up from the bed shadow put me in. I went down stairs and made some toast for myself then i thought about why shadow saved me as I thought I heard a door open then I saw shadow coming down stairs he saw me and said "oh hey infinite never knew u woke up" he said rubbing the back of his neck he walked into the kitchen and made some coffee for himself. When the coffee was done he sat down at the table and started drinking it i kept eating my toast then he spoke "infinite i-im sorry..." He said looking down i was confused on why he said sorry so i asked him "why u sorry?" I said tilting my head "a-about killing ur squad and being rude.." He said then i remebered i sighed "its fine.." I said looking to the side he looked up shocked "r-really after everything ive done...?" He said "yes i forgive u.." I said sighing he smiled and ran over and hugged me "t-thank you so much infinite.." He said i smiled abit under my mask "n-no problem s-shadow" i said patting his back calmed down and smiled abit and blushed i smiled abit and blushed abit under my mask to.. I walked over to the couch and sat down and turned on the Tv so did Shadow "U wanna watch a movie?" I said he nodded "ok what type?" I said "horror movie.." He said "ok" I said. After about a hour of watching the horror movie i loved it had so many jumpscares i felt pressure on my shoulder i looked at it and saw shadow on it i blushed under my mask and i put my arm around him and fell asleep...
