Forgiveness Prevailed
Before we've got home yesterday, Heidi called me. She asked me if I am free today since it's now Saturday and of course, I said yes. She told me that she has something to tell me later when we got there on our favorite park before.
Heidi is my childhood best friend too just like Adrien. But unfortunately, Rien doesn't know what has happened to Heidi and why did she left me before too. He is clueless too.
Ayesha and Adrien are in our house this day. Maybe to start asking about Heidi and I.
“Sheila, what happened to the both of you before? Tell us about it,” at that very moment, I suddenly felt guilty to them.
“Guys, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for not telling you about us before. I'm still hurt, you know. I am so sorry,” they all hugged me so tight together with their warm embrace.
“It's alright, Ela. We knew you needed time and space. I knew it's not that easy to let out those burdens inside you.”
“I agree, Adrien. We understand you. Don't worry if you still can't talk about it, we will wait. We won't force you to do so, Shiela,” God! They really melted my heart.
“It's fine, guys. I have moved on and I am now ready. I will tell you now wholeheartedly.”
“Are you sure, Ela?” I nodded to him.
“Of course, Rien. Just listen carefully to what I will say,” they both nodded at me. As what I've said, they carefully listened to me the whole time around. They did not judged me or even Heidi nor said any hurtful words.
Every person has their own reasons for taking risks and for having regrets for what they have done. Ayesha and Adrien just did the right thing. We should not judge anyone just because of their mistakes. We should try to understand them carefully. As always said, don't judge a book by its cover.
Every one of us learns from our mistakes and that's really a good sign. We should not repeat them again.

They are still here since they told me that they will stay here overnight.
It is already 2 pm. It is time to prepare myself. Heidi is the one who scheduled this just for us to have a talk. I should be prepared for what will I know.
I decided to wear my simple pink dress and flats for this time too. And before going, I let them know first so that they would not be worried too much.
“I'll go ahead now, guys. Be safe here.”
“Are you really sure about your decision, Shiela? You might get hurt as well,” I smiled to her, reassuring that everything's going to be fine. I hope it would.
“Yes, Ayesha. I'm totally sure of this one. And don't worry, I can handle myself.”
“Sigh! Fine, Shiela. Just take care of yourself. It will be bad for your health. Let us know what happened, alright? Don't hesitate to contact us.”
“Yes, Ayesha. I will. Please do take good care of her, Rien. I trust you so much. Lock the doors too. Evil people are just around,” they both nodded to me. When I looked at Ayesha, she is already blushing. Oh, yeah. They both like each other. They just can't admit it.
“I will, Ela. You know I will. I will not let anything to happen especially when I am with her. I will protect her as much as I can. I can handle this,” Yikes! She's so lucky to have a man just like Rien. I am happy for them both. He is telling me those words without even thinking that Ayesha's still listening to us. He's too confident, obviously. Ayesha's face went all red now. She looks like a tomato. Ugh! That's what love is. Those sweet words came running through everyone's mind. It feels so good to be protected by anyone.
