Marcy Smith has been in love with her math teacher since the beginning of her freshman year of high school, but when she finally confesses to him, she gets shot down.... hard. Heart broken and embarrassed, she transfers to a new school to start over. However, bad luck just doesn't want to leave her alone. Soon after, her parents are killed in a car crash leaving her depressed and lonely. But when she gets her new foster father, will her life be better or worse?
