"Lady Selena, you will accompany Sir Rajak to inform Regis of his promotion to the new Landegre Clan Leader by order of the Lord," informed Sir Gejutel.

"Of course, Sir Gejutel. We'll be back before you can say 'ramen'."

"Good luck, Lady Selena. We will await your return with my grandson."

You nodded and you parted ways, him headed back to the Lord's castle and you following Rajak's trail.

"We can stay the night at Frankenstein's place to give us more time together before we go back," you suggested once you caught up to him. "We could head back with Regis in the morning."

The conversation begins to go back and forth, picking up speed.

"What if we slept in?"

"We can go later or the next day."

"What if we slept in every day?"

"You gave the Lord your word."

"I'd rather give it to you."

"They are expecting Regis too, you know. It is his ceremony, after all."

"We don't have to attend." They stop on a nearby island. "Sel... for years, we've stolen these moments, trying to see if this could work. And... I don't know. You know what, I'm just gonna speak for myself -- I, I... I think..." She had never seen him this flustered before... except when he asked her to marry him.

"It works," she finished for him. "We've been secretly married for years now and nobody has found out except for the Lord..."

"Then stay. Let's stay in the human realm. Rael can become the clan leader."

Selena looks down, considering it, but then her eyes and attention drift to her left.

Suddenly very uncertain, he tries to take the words back. "Or not. If I'm overstepping..." He notices what she's looking at.

A combination of modified werewolves and nobles were leaping through the air, headed towards Lukedonia.

Fearful, Selena turned to Rajak. "Who are they?"

"They are... headed for Lukedonia. Ragus could easily disarm the barrier, and Ludis wouldn't notice." He kisses her hand. "I have to go. You get Regis and the others."

"No, Rajak. If... if that's real... then maybe going isn't the best idea. Let's go back to Lukedonia-"

A wave of power sliced between them, forcing them apart to avoid being hit. They both turned towards the group who had landed on their island.

Three modified werewolves, three traitor nobles.

"Rajak Kertia? Is that you?" Gradeus asked. "That kid got this big?" It was unclear whether he was talking to his fellow traitors or to himself here.

"How long has it been? You became so handsome! I thought you were someone else..."

"Right? But it isn't to the point of not recognizing..." commented Ragus Tradio.

"Haha, you think so?"

"I've always thought that you looked like Rayga, but you look even more like him now," gushed (?) Ragus.

"That is true, he does resemble Rayga very much," agreed Gradeus like an agreeable puppy (M-21 would be insulted), or how Frankenstein would rush to reassure his Master the latter is right.

"And I'd bet he's good in the, ah- other department too, just like him. It's very rare for there to be multiple purebloods of a clan," remarked Ragus with a smirk.
