You step foot out onto the short staircase towards the garden located beside the Manor. Emma has tended it well. The beds were filled with bountiful of nostalgias, clarities, and hydrangeas. Each buds blooming and blossoming as the warmth of spring envelops the harsh cold winter. The soothing rays of sunlight beamed through the frail glass-roof from above, dipping everything as if they were a dessert into sweet honey. The little snow left behind turned into fluids, dripping off tips of leaves and dwindling down into tiny puddles amongst the cobblestone flooring. The silence of the garden eased you.

Abruptly, whispers of slow nearing footsteps rung in your ears. The approaching footsteps clip-clopped down the very same staircase you took. The sound was familiar. Muffles of clicks and clanks could be heard as the figure came closer. The warmth from behind tensed you yet the arms which wrap around your small frame, the tight hug of gentle arms which still gave space for breathing, reassured you. His head laid in the crook of your neck as you saw the love of your life gaze into your eyes with nothing but love and admiration topped off with a tender smile.

"I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Non-non."

In his embrace, the world stops its axis. The arms of the clock slowed as if time vanished into thin air as if the clock of death had granted your wish of eternal youth. You felt your body press into him, soft and warm. You wished this would never end.
