Today was Archie's first Birthday. I woke up to Archie laughing while Fred was tickling him. "Who's the handsome birthday boy? Are you the handsome birthday boy Archie?" Fred asked as Archie was laughing a ton. I smiled at how much of an amazing father Fred is with Archie. "Good morning beautiful. Look Archie, mama is awake." Fred cooed at Archie. Archie looked at me and smiled. He crawled over to where I was and cuddled into me. "M-ma." Archie was trying to say. "I think he's going to say his first word!" I stated. "Ma." He said. "Mama." I cooed at Archie. He smiled at me while Fred was looking at him. "I want him to say dada as his first word." Fred said. I laughed and looked back at Archie. "Mama." Archie said and I almost started crying tears of happiness. "His first word was mama!" I exclaimed. Fred picked up Archie and started tickling him again which made Archie laugh. "Dada." Fred cooed at Archie. "Mama." Archie said which made me smile.
"Want to say good morning to Andromeda?" Fred asked Archie who nodded his head. Fred leaned down on the bed with Archie and they were both facing my baby bump. I was a lot bigger with Archie then I am now. However being eight months pregnant, I was big. Fred put my shirt up so that my bump was exposed. Fred kissed my belly and so did Archie. "Good morning Andromeda, it's your older brother Archie's first birthday." Fred cooed at my belly. Andromeda started to kick right as Archie put his small hand on my bump and Fred kissed it. "Andromeda is going mad in there." I stated. Fred smiled and kissed my belly again. Archie kissed my belly and looked at Fred. Fred kissed his little forehead and I smiled. Just little moments like these, these little family moments are what means the most.
"Do you know who is coming over today?" I asked Fred. "Yeah, all my siblings and their partners, your parents and Teddy, my parents, and Lee." Fred said and I nodded my head. "Happy birthday Archie." I said as I sat up and kissed his head. "It's crazy to think that last year you gave birth to Archie and next month will be Andromeda." Fred said and I nodded my head. Then all of a sudden there was a sound of apparation from downstairs. "Fred! Y/N!" Molly'a voice was heard from downstairs. "I'll get a quick shower, would you like to bring Archie downstairs?" I asked Fred who nodded his head. "Thank you." I said as I kissed Fred's lips passionately.
I quickly hopped in the shower and washed my hair. I looked down at my bump and smiled. I can't believe that Andromeda is going to be here soon. I already love her so much. After my shower, I got dressed in one of the dresses that Fred bought for me for maternity.
I went downstairs where everyone else was already here. Archie was getting a lot of love from all of his Uncles and Aunts. Lee was currently holding him with Ginny holding Teddy. I remembered that there was a cake that I had to get ready for Archie. "Fred, wanna help me with the cake?" I asked Fred who nodded his head.
We entered the kitchen where I was getting the cake ready that Fred had baked last night. Fred wrapped his arms around my torso and rested his hands on my stomach. "I can't wait for Andromeda. You and Ginny did a great job on the nursery." Fred said which made me smile. "Thank you, we worked pretty hard on it but it payed off." I stated "It did, I am sure that Andromeda is going to love it." Fred said. "I love it as well. Now let's go get Archie his birthday cake. I am sure that he is dying for it." I stated and Fred nodded his head.
We all sang Happy Birthday as I put the cake in front of Archie. He had the widest smile on his face as the cake was put in front of him. "Happy birthday Archie." I said to my son as I placed a kiss on top of his ginger hair. Mum brought Teddy over to Archie as they were both laughing and clapping their hands.
"Mama." Archie said which made everyone 'aww'. I picked up Archie and helped him get some cake. He was the happiest of babies. Fred came over and kept trying to make him say 'dada' but it didn't work. "Fred, I think Archie is a mummy's boy." Dad laughed out. "He gets that from you." I said to Fred with a giggle in my voice. Fred chuckled and kisses Archie's head. Overall I think that Archie's first birthday was an amazing first birthday for him.
