Her eyes shot open, revealing a beautiful pair of clear blue eyes. She sat up quickly, soon dizziness took over her and she touched her head. She felt an excruciating amount of pain on her stomach. She noticed she wasn't wearing the same clothes she wore before, they were too oversized, even for her liking since it made her feel really small.
She picked the shirt up to reveal her patched up stomach, blood seeped through the bandages wrapped around her stomach.
She noticed the bandages on her arms and neck.
She stared down at them as she started reminiscing on the events that occurred that resulted in her current state. She clenched her fist. She couldn't help but have a pathetic expression laid on her face.
'Why...? Why would he...'
She thought as she looked at the light on the ceiling. She noticed this place wasn't somewhere she knew. She wondered who treated her wounds. Whoever did, treated her with care. The door creaked. She looked at the direction with caution, her hand reaching for her hairpin and she threw it, making this person's shirt stick to the side of the door.
"What the-" A male voice said in surprise and shock. She got out of the bed while the boy tried to pull the hairpin out of the wall, but it wouldn't budge. 'How strong can one hairpin be?!' He questioned as she stopped in front of him.
"Who are you? Where am I?" She questioned.
"I'm Todoroki Natsuo! You're at our Family house since I found you on the side of the street, bleeding out!" He shouted. She observed him for even the slightest hint of a Lie. She took her hairpin and bowed politely.
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have done that, but I was taught to be cautious of everyone, especially when I'm in an unfamiliar place." She apologized. He sweatdropped.
"Where the hell did you learn to throw like that???" He questioned as he put his hands in his pockets. "I was taught by my Teacher." She replied with a deadpanned expression. "Do you know who treated my wounds? They're quite skilled if I do say so myself." She asked.
"Oh, that was me." He replied as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously, with a tink of pink on his cheeks by the sudden compliment.
"Eh?!?! You're so young! That's so amazing! The skill you possess is top notch!" She exclaimed with a grin. He became more flustered. "Thanks..." He said with a small smile. "It's all good dude! I only speak the truth." She exclaimed. He looked like he just remembered something.
"Oh right. How did you even get that injured?" He asked. Her grin slowly faded from her pale face. Her heart ached. She clenched her fist.
"I'd rather not talk about it..." She uttered, the pain and sadness in her voice evident. "I know you treated my wounds and all... But this is a personal matter... And I still don't really know the full details myself..." She added with a small sad smile. He could hear the sadness and confusion in her voice. It's as if she can't choose whether to laugh it off or cry.
"I-I understand, but please... When your ready, you can tell me." He said with a determined look, his eyebrows furrowed. Her mouth and eyes widened for the fraction of a second before she smiled.
"Absolutely!" She exclaimed.
"Ah right! It's almost time for dinner. I bet your parents are worried about you, do you want me to walk you home?" Natsuo asked with a gentle smile as they continued to converse in the hallway.
"Oh about that... I don't have a family nor a home... Sorry..."She replied nervously as she softly scratched her cheek with her finger, adverting her eyes from him.
"Oh... Then I guess you can stay here... But we'll have to ask my 'Father'..." Natsuo said as he empathized the word with hatred. She saw the hate in his eyes. She wondered why he seemed to hate his father so much.
"Why don't you stay for dinner. We can try to convince him then." Natsuo said. "But you'll have play the role of my 'Girlfriend' since I'm pretty sure he won't let a stranger live here..." Natsuo added.
"Not a problem. Just give me some of your clothes so I can make a pair of clothes for me. If you don't mind that is." She said with a close eyed smile.
"Sure! I can always buy more later. Oh, what's your name?" He asked.
"Azami, no last name, but to make this whole facade believable, my full name with be Nakajima Azami." She replied. 'Sorry Atsushi! I'm gonna borrow your surname for now.' She thought with a smile.
"Ok, shall we get started?" Natsuo asked as they walked into his room.
"Yep." She replied as she closed the door.
....
"Natsuo, who is this." Natsuo's Father, Endeavor or Todoroki Enji, demanded. "You must be Natsuo's Father. I've heard so much about you. It's nice to finally meet you, I'm Nakajima Azami, Natsuo's Girlfriend." Azami replied for Natsuo, who she knew was freaking out."Humph. I didn't ask you, I asked Natsuo." Endeavor stated. She just smiled. "And I replied. Last time I checked, your not my guardian or anyone that can tell me what I can and cannot do." She said.
Natsuo's siblings, mainly Shoto, were mentally wondering how Natsuo even met the brave female.
"Azami is my girlfriend." Natsuo finally spoke.
"Where did you two meet?" Endeavor questioned. "We met in our first year of Junior high In the library." She replied.
Endeavor and her stared at each other until she finally decided to open her eyes. It felt like eternity for the two. In that second, they saw something that they'd rather not speak of around the others.
"I see... I'm glad my Son has someone like you by his side." He said. Everyone except the two were confused about what just happened.
"O-Oh, Father... Can Azami stay for a bit...? She was kicked out her house with no place to go..." Natsuo asked nervously.
"Do whatever you want."
