Chapter 5: DARK SIDE OF WITCHES. Part 2: shopping for magic tools.

Elsewhere, Daeren fights an ogre.

He casts spells on the ogre who blocks them with his arms.

Since when do monsters have a defense against magic? Okay, I need a more powerful spell... just enough time to focus.

The ogre hunts after Daeren, picks up and throws tree trunks that crush campers.

Daeren runs up to try to help them.

The ogre grabs him, crushes the campers at his feet and throws Daeren like a pebble which is thrown against a tree.

His back bumps into a crashing noise to the point of vomiting blood.

The ogre charges towards him at full speed.

He frantically searches for his wand while trying to ignore his pain.

He holds out his wand at the ogre who is a few yards in front of him.

[Yod]

A small ball of light projected at full speed hits the ogre who is pushed back several meters before exploding against a wall.

He looks at the campers... scared... and lifeless bodies spread all over the place, crushed by the ogre's footsteps.

He casts the spell [Impero] on them to force them to say thank you, a faint light shines on his amulet.

Then he uses the [Oubliette] spell and manipulates their memory.

He cleans up the traces of combat and monsters with the [Reparo] spell.

He returns to his Chamber of Secrets. Injured. Hands pressing her head to vent her frustration.

It hurts... People have died... Already I am quickly spotted; it puts me and the others in danger. Second, I'm not yet able to fight and protect others at the same time and finally, fatigue and injuries make distance travel difficult... I really need to upgrade.

He pours the dim light into the cauldron.

On Saturday night in the Slytherin common room, in the boys' dormitory, everyone is still alive, discussing the day.

Claudio Crowley is burning incense in the boys' room. The smoke relaxes the boys and makes them sleep... in a comatose state.

"They aren't dead, are they?" Daeren asks.

"They are very, very, very, very sleepy. We'll be back before they wake up."

Claudio writes runes on a parchment. He spreads the parchment on the ground, he takes two gold coins from his mouth. He melts the coins with his wand. The liquid flows over the parchment. The runes glow and reveal a slit in the void.

"Let's go." Claudio said calmly.

Claudio jumps into the lunge, followed by Daeren.

They appear in a cabinet with on the floor a circle with runes still shining in a bright color.

They go out the door in front of them and enter a shop. An old man with white hair, an eye patch over his left eye, is cleaning glasses.

"Hmm? Master Claudio, Master Daeren. Very welcome."

"Hello Tores." Said Claudio. "We came... No, I came to accompany my friend here for his shopping."

The old man looks at them anxiously.

"Oh, sorry." Claudio takes out a bag full of gold which he places on the table.

"Good. Master Daeren, follow me. Master Claudio__"
