"L-Look, B-Braden, I-I'm S-sorry w-we killed your friends but we had no choice." General Godgan said. "Oh you will be sorry." Braden growled and prepared his atomic breath. But decided against it. "You're lucky, I am letting you get away this time, however, I won't be as kind if you target me again." Braden growled. With that Braden left, reaching the ocean and swam deep underwater to rest.
Meanwhile, the two groups of survivors reach their respective hideouts. Now that the area is no longer a warzone, both groups multiply and their hideouts grow in size and strength.
Braden was devastated first he lost his hometown, now he lost his best friends, he kept on having good dreams about them. And some nightmares about their deaths.
They were his only real friends after all.
Godgan took the death of his squad very well, he was promoted for his actions and became a hero. He eventually had a statue built to commemorate him.
A ceremony was made for Godgan to honor him in making a world a better place again, however Braden will eventually return and not for the better.
