Dear Diary, I was supposed to die. I was prepared for death to consume me and yet it never came. Why did it surpass me and not my mom? The woman who birthed me — my first love. Why didn't I die alongside with her? Was I meant to stay alive and not her? I used to ask myself so many questions ever since the accident to the point where it drained me. Before the incident, I was a normal teenage girl with many friends and I would rather spend my weekend with my friends than alone with my mother. Oh, how I regret every single decision I made. How I regret having arguments with my mom. How I regret denying to spend time with her. How I regret not saying "I love you" more. Everything. Why did it have to be her? Why not me?
But now I understand.
I wasn't meant to die then — I was supposed to die later on in my now ending life. This was my fate, this is my death and it's meant for me.
