William sat in his desk chair, knee bouncing up and down, thinking. He'd been doing this for hours now and couldn't figure out an answer to the questions swirling around his head. Questions like: 'What's wrong with me?' and 'Will everyone think I'm disgusting if I come out?'. He supposed he'd unconsciously know about his unusual fondness for boys for years; but he probably didn't want to accept it. But now he'd come to realization, to awareness of his true self, of his gay self.
"William?" He froze. In the doorway his mother stood, looking slightly confused. "Didn't you hear me calling you for dinner?". William looked up, he had. 15 minutes ago.
"Yeah, I'm just not hungry." And that was the truth. He'd lost his appetite to the funny feeling in his stomach, which has also happened at lunch to. His mom gave home a stern look, which he returned, then sighed.
"Will, I'm just worried about you." He could tell so he just presented a small smile.
"I know."
She gave him a smile, a tentative one, and walked out the door.
Back to thinking.

CJ sat at his desk furiously typing. With almost all of his classes being AP ones he had to work twice as much. He didn't mind though, it kept him from thinking.
"Dinner!" He ignored the call. The paper was due 2 weeks from now but he was determined to keep up. "That means you to CJ!"
Of course. Another family night that would put him behind and connect home with his ever-so annoying family. And give him time to think.
