Chapter 1: Burnt

"Walking past this beautiful store that I very well know I can't afford a thing from. I doubt I'll ever be able to buy anything from this store but i believe destiny can change for anyone and one day I will get the opportunity to buy anything I want from this world. Right now, I am in a position that I am unable to pay my rent or even buy three meals a day but I know I'll get through this; that one day I'll be able to buy myself anything that I like, that one day I'll be able to find my purpose in life, that one day I'll find comfort and finally be happy. For now I'll just sit down and admire the lives of others. I won't say that I haven't envied anyone cause then it would be a lie. I put up a smile on my face and carry on with life. At this very moment I feel lost, I can't seem to understand my stand in life. Why am I born? Why do I breathe? Why do I feel? Why? Why? Is all I think daily. I believe everyone has a purpose for existing. Existence is a game itself, u believe u can control it but trust me you can't. Those high above are the rulers and you are just a part of their lives. You can control your life to a point that it doesn't mess up the lives of those above but when you reach within their perimeters, be careful cause that may be the end of you and you may never see the light again. Life is a game where the strong survive and the weak struggle. The weak fight among themselves for survival. Only those who reach the final level of the game will live in life. Reaching the final level doesn't ensure your happiness as you push down several people just to get yourself a place among those above. After that u start using the weak as puppets to achieve what you want....... But is that all life is? We live in a world where you come first and they come second. Wake up!!!because life isn't a dream that you always hoped for. It's a battlefield where u fight daily........"
"Destiny! Destiny! What are you doing standing in front of that boutique?"
"Oh sorry Res, I was just day dreaming" Destiny chuckled while answering Res.
They both were going to the factory, the place where they work to survive. They both chuckled and laughed while walking towards their destination. They reached the factory and they saw a huge commotion taking place right in front of it. Several men were pouring something outside the factory which Destiny suspected was gasoline due to the smell. They both screamed at those men and asked them what they were doing. They ignored the girls and continued doing what they meant to do. The factory was locked and several workers were banging the door asking for help. The girls didn't know what to do. They tried pushing the men but they were strong enough to push them away. They wanted to scream for help but no one was around as the factory was situated in a secluded place. Suddenly a very buff guy came and grabbed the girls by their wrists and tied them to a metal railing. The girls felt trapped; they didn't know what to do. They screamed for help; they tried breaking through the knots of the chain that they were tied with but nothing worked. Everything seemed like it was ending. Suddenly Res was successful in breaking free from the chains but she didn't make it obvious as she didn't want to get caught. She then continued to break Destiny's chains and she was successful in doing so too. They both now ran and hid behind a barrel while thinking about ways to save the workers. Suddenly they saw a guy taking out a lighter. Res lost her mind and ran towards that guy to stop him but...... Unfortunately, the lighter fell on the ground and Res fell in the fire too. Destiny felt helpless as she wanted to go help Res but now the whole place was with fire and getting demolished. Around a total of 300 people were there in that factory and even Res, Destiny's only companion in life were getting burned alive right in front of her eyes. Suddenly a guy noticed Destiny behind the barrel and screamed to the other guys. Destiny didn't know what to do so she began running as fast as she could. She didn't look back even for a second and ran farther and farther. Without any destination, she kept running......
