The next 4 weeks on Smackdown they would try to have matches for the number 1 contender for the intercontinental championship, but every week something would happen. The first week Blake interfered while he was on commentary, then the next week Blake was banned from the arena and Bayley interfered and finally the 3rd week they were able to have the match and the Miz won to become number 1 contender. They had a contract signing on the Friday before Backlash and the Miz called Blake a moocher because he fed off of Paramore on his first tour then Lil Wayne on his next, and Blake replied back with instead of calling Miz "Hollywood" they need to call him "VOD" (video on demand) because his movies never make the theatre.
It is now Sunday and Bayley was the opening match of the PPV, a rematch against Becky which Bayley won. There was barely any build to this match so it was rather forgettable. But now it was time for Blake's match with the Miz, and he hadn't told Bayley about the plans that WWE had for him so she was rather excited for his match to see what he can do. Blake walks out to the ring with a shirt on that has the Hollywood sign with a big X through it and the letters VOD underneath it. This gets a huge pop from the crowd as he waits for Miz as he comes to the ramp and does his spin and struts down to the ring.
The ref rings the bell and Miz immediately goes to messing with the turnbuckle to distract the ref, and while Blake has his back turned he doesn't see Rollins sprinting down to the ring and delivering a low blow to Blake. He hunches over in pain and the Miz moves the referee out of the way and hits the skull crushing finale for the 3 count and the victory and as quickly as Blake had the title it was gone.
Miz holds the title up in the air as Bayley runs down to the ring to check on him and she whispers in his ear so no one will hear it
Bayley: "Don't worry I'll take care of them tonight"
Blake does everything he can to stay in character as the camera cuts to a break so they can get out of the ring for the next match
*2 Weeks Later*
Bayley is dress shopping for the wedding since it is in 2 1/2 months and she and all her bridesmaids finally had time to go and pick out the dress she wants and the color for the bridesmaids so Blake and the groomsmen can get the tie color they need. It didn't take long for Bayley to pick the bridesmaids dresses and she and the girls loved it because you can wear it in different styles

She takes a picture and sends it to Blake since they are at the tuxedo shop as well so they can tell the place what color ties and stuff they need to get. He sends back the thumbs up emoji as Bayley now starts to look for her dress
Sasha, Carmella, Charlotte and Becky are all sitting on one of the couches as they talk with one another, Carmella showing off her ring as Bayley tries on several dresses and not liking anything she sees until she finally comes out with the dream dress she has always wanted
