You know how, in movies and books, there's that moment where the main character wakes up, forgetting they fell asleep in a foreign place? Yeah, well, either that trope was full of crap, or my brain just refused to give me even a second of peace. As it was, I had to take a minute to relax the racing of my heart; my mind kept running through the previous night's events and that was not at all helping to calm me down.

I was here. I was actually here in the "Devildom." Even though most of me had believed that I wasn't hallucinating or dreaming - a very small part had clung to the idea. It was possible that my brain had done that in order to keep me partially sane. But, now it was time for me to face the music.

My hand bumped something cool and hard hidden among the sheets of the bed. I picked it up and instantly my eyes were assaulted by the bright screen of my D.D.D. I squinted, taking in the new notifications that had populated the lock screen. Several were messages from a few of the demon brothers, sent shortly after I had fallen asleep. The last appeared to have been sent by something called "Karasu."

I tapped that and my screen immediately jumped to the phone's messaging app. Catching my attention, I noticed what looked to be an eye next to one of the messages. Just before I could click it, another Karasu notification popped up, a little crow icon in the corner.

Karasu: The new version of Karasu OS has been installed, and the Eye See You function is now added to Chat.
Can you see the Eye? When you tap it, you can secretly read in on their conversations.

I blinked and had to take a second to process what I just read. Secretly read in on their conversations? Why? For what purpose? Did Diavolo allow this, for some reason?

Karasu: But the other members don't know you have this function! Although it's only meant for a handful of demons...you were granted the right to use it! Isn't that amazing?

I quickly read through the new notification that appeared. It didn't give me any other clues, but it had to make sense that the Demon Prince knew. It actually wouldn't make sense otherwise. Was this his way of giving me a little indirect help?

Swallowing, my finger crept to a chat titled "The Demon Brothers." The eye next to it seemed to be warning me. Or maybe "daring" was more accurate. I hesitated for only a second before plunging right in.

Lucifer: Mammon, may I assume you escorted our exchange student safely to her room?

Asmodeus: If by "Mammon" you mean "moi" - then yes, I did. *devil sticker blowing a kiss*

Lucifer: MAMMON?

Mammon: *Eeeek sticker*

Leviathan: Lololol Idiot

I clicked out of the chat, a little satisfied that the Avatar of Lust had sold his brother out, but also feeling a tad uncomfortable spying on another party's conversation. I didn't know if Lucifer would do anything to Mammon as punishment, and I don't think I even wanted to know. But it did feel as if the Avatar of Greed was getting his just desserts, especially since Leviathan had roped me into doing his dirty work.

Rubbing my eyes, I moved on to the other messages that were actually directed towards me. All Satan had sent was a sticker of what looked to be a crow saluting. It seemed that he kept more to himself than the others and that left me feeling relieved. Who knew what kind of antics the Avatar of Wrath could get up to?

The second message I clicked on was from Beelzebub. Considering he was the Avatar of Gluttony, I wasn't entirely surprised by what he sent.

Beelzebub: If you've got anything to eat, could you give some to me?
