Luna pov

Me and Mac had moved down to the meeting room. He was sitting at the head of the table and I was to his left. He was going over the inventory, and I was decoding more of my mother's notebook. I was writing down more of the code I deciphered when I heard Mac sigh from my left.

I turned my head to face him.  His eyebrows were knit together in frustration. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at him. I then cleared my throat to get his attention. He looked up immediately at me.  His eyes became hard and stern after I showed him what I had deciphered in my room.

I stared at him for a second. I let out a sigh of my own and sat the book down on the table I was using to write down the decoding in. I then turned to face him fully and spoke.

"What's wrong, Mac? You have been sighing and over all frustration about that inventory list this entire time."

"Not that it is any of your concern but we are running low.  We will need to go out and get more."

"So grocery run basically."

"Yes."

"Who all is going on this run?" He looked at me in thought before answering my question.

"Me, Austin, Nick, and you will be going on this run." I felt my eyes go wide for a few seconds. I looked at him in shock as we just stared at each other. I heard him clear his throat. I shook my head to clear it. I snapped out of it and looked at him. I was still in shock at what he said. 'He wants me to go with them? I haven't even been here a week and I'm being asked this.' I saw a hand wave in front of my face and I backed away from him.

I looked to see his concerned filled eyes and  raised eyebrows, his scar in full view. I let out a sigh before straightening my back hearing my back pop as I did. I closed my eyes as I rolled my head side to side. I then looked at Mac and said.

"When do we leave." He seemed shocked at first but it quickly turned back to serious. He stood before turning and walking to the door.  He stopped and turned back to look at me and said.

"We will leave at noon and be gone till sunset, so get what you need and be ready to go." With that he left. I just sat there staring at were he had been. I grabbed both the books and pen and walked out of the meeting room.

I had walked up the stairs and entered my room. I walked over to the desk in the room and sat the books down on the table top. I walked over to my closet and opened it. I saw Star laying with her head up now, looking at me in question.  I grabbed my backpack and headed back over to the desk. I heard paw-steps come out of the closet and over to me.

I unzipped my backpack and put the two books in as well.  I grabbed my black mask out for missions from the desk drawer along with my fingerless gloves and put them in the backpack. I started walking around the room to see what else I needed to grab for this. Star had been silent this whole time until I heard her clear her throat.

"*clears throat* Um, Luna what are you doing?" I grabbed my first aid kit along with some rope and lock-pit kit, 'been in a few situations that required pit a lock, especially when caught.' And I walked back over to my backpack and started putting the stuff in my backpack. I turned back to face Star and said.

"I packing some stuff to last till sunset. I was asked to go with Mac, Austin, and Nick on a run to get more supplies for the team." I saw a look of shock flash across her face as I said that. I then turned back to face my backpack and continued to pack some stuff.

"W-wait what?! They asked you go get supplies with them."

"Yes Mac did, and we're leaving at noon, so I need to get stuff ready  for me to go. You will stay here and help Lilly guard this base." I heard Star walking, but not closer to me. I turned to see were she was headed. I saw Star heading to the door. I raised an eyebrow in confusion at her. She then turned to face me and said.
