Readers pov

I was still driving home from working away. I've been driving for about 18 hours, now you may be thinking - hey that's a long time to be driving - but let me tell you thats not long for me. I've been working away for about 3 months and I'm not due home until next week but i got off early and decided to come home early.

In about 2 hours I'll be home. I left around 5pm which means i should be home around 1pm and its currently 11am. I haven't slept so I'm a little tired. I'm hoping that corpse is tired enough to sleep when i get back or if he would allow me to sleep on his lap while he streams.

Time skip (when you got home)

I pulled into the drive and took a deep breath. Looking at the front of the house i cause see that kitchen light on and no others which probably meant that corpse was either getting a drink or making food. The house looked pretty clean from the outside so that's a good sign.

Leaving my stuff in the car i walked into the house after unlocking the door. Corpse popped his head out the door from the kitchen to see who came in. He gasped after seeing it was me and practicaly ran to me. He picked me up and spun me around while kissing me all over my face. All i could do was giggle at the reaction.

"I didn't know you were coming back today"

"I wasn't supposed to but i finished early so i decided to surprise you" i replied while smiling.

"That's amazing baby but I'm streaming at the moment... I can end it now if you want?" He asked but i shook my head.

"No its alright I'm tired anyway so can i maybe take a nap with you while you stream?" I asked hoping he would let me.

"Of course you can baby girl. I missed you so much" he said while kissing my forehead.

"I-" i cut off my own sentence with a yawn "i missed you too"  with that i walked back towards the door.

"Where you going?" I heard being asked behind me.

I turned around "to get my stuff from the car?" I said but it sounded more of a question. Corpse game me a confused look.

"Oh right you don't know do you... Well I'm staying and i got the next year working from home so im not leaving for a while" i said while smiling. In return i got a very excited smile and happy 'yay!' From him.

Corpses POV

After Y/N suprised me i went back to the kitchen to finish what i was doing and then went up to my YouTube room and got a spare blanket from the cupboard, we keep it There because Y/N tends to fall asleep in the room while I'm streaming often.

While i was starting my stream my princess came in yawning and rubbing her eyes. I aww'ed at the sight and opened my arms inviting her in. She climbed onto my lap with her legs either side of me, straddling me which i was fine with as long as she was confused. Wrapped the blanket around her and myself and joined the discord  all and kissed my princesses head while rocking her slightly.

After about 5 minutes i could hear Y/N's little snores next to my ear which is where her head was placed.

Time skip (half way through the stream)

About half was through the stream she started to move about. I lifted my arms up slightly so they weren't in the way of her shifting. Botong after she stopped moving seeming to have found a comfortable place and let out a little sigh falling back into a deep sleep.

This went on a couple nore times telling me that she would be waking up soon.

Not long after she moved again but let out a little groan. I muted my mic to everything and leaned back into my chair waiting for my baby to fully wake up.

"Good evening baby did you have a nice nap?" I asked hopping she was awake enough to answer me or even just a nod

"Mhm" she replied while nodding into my chest then finished "thank you"

"That's alright princess as long as your were happy and healthy"

She took a little bit long to come a round but when she did she played a few games of among us for me which i was playing on stream. No one new she was home early but her and me, and her work obviously, but other then that none of our friends new and the stream didn't know either.

While she was playing i was still talking so they thought it was still me. This went on for about 2 hours and then We decided now would be a good time to come off considering Y/N hasnt eaten in about 24 hours and she need to eat.

After saying my goodbyes to everyone using the excuse that i had been up for about 3 days and i was getting tired we came off and went to the kitchen to get food. Y/N wanted pasta salad so we made pasta salad with chicken on the side. After making it i found myself quite hungry too so i had some also and let me tell you this was amazing i would definitely make this again.

For the rest of the evening we just watched some films and caught up with eachother and telling eachother what we had done for the last 3 months.

All in all this was a surprise i would go through again but when she told me that she wasn't going away for another year made my heart so happy because i can now see her everyday for a whole year.
