After talking to my Glinda, she said she prefers Glanda over Glindanna, so if i say Glanda, it is most likely not a spelling mistake. And i will call our main character Elizabeth when she is in her regular clothes and Elsaba when she is in her Elsaba clothes and is using her powers. (You'll find out about the Elsaba clothes later) Thanks for your comments.
Kristin Chenoweth sat on the couch in her living room. It had been a long and tiring day.
Even worse, Kristin was worried for Idina. She had watched her Super Bowl performance, and ever since she couldn't help but glance out the window and around the room in case someone was watching her.
A loud knock sounded on the door, causing the blonde to jump.
She ran over and pulled her hand out to open it, thinking it would be Idina, but stopped.
She stood there for a moment, ringing her hands and fighting with herself about what to do.
With a worried sigh, she lifted her hand out and opened the door.As soon as the door opened, Kristin lept over and hugged the person in front of her.
The woman laughed and hugged back for a moment before pulling away.
"Can we come in?" Idina asked.
"Of course!"Once all four of them were settled on the couch, Kristin looked at each person individually. It wasn't until now that she noticed the green woman.
"You! You're the person that saved Idina! Thank you...Wait, what is your name?"
"My name is Elizabeth, but all my friends call me-"
"Let me guess. Elsaba," Kristin interrupted.
"How did you know?" Elizabeth wondered.
"I've done my research," she answered, glancing at Idina.
"I don't mean to be rude, but how did you get..." Kristin began.
"Green?" Elizabeth finished, used to so many people asking.
"Yeah..."
"How about i explain this and you go put Walker to bed?" Idina jumped in.
"Sure!" Elizabeth's eyes lit, half from being able to spend time with Walker and half from Idina saving her.
"The guest room is the third room on the right," Kristin called as Elizabeth and Walker raced to down the hall.
Walker bounded into the room first.
"I win!" He exclaimed.
"Yes you did. Now, you should change into pajamas. Is there any spares ones here?"
"In that drawer!" Walker said, pointing to a dresser in the corner. "I don't want to go to bed. I'm not tired!"
"Well, we'll see once you are cozy under the covers," Elizabeth suggested.
She picked out a pair of ninja turtle pajamas and helped the boy put them on.
She then pulled back the covers and the boy reluctantly climbed in. Elizabeth paused before she decided to climb in with him.
"Tired yet?" Elizabeth asked.
"Not really," Walker said before he yawned, causing them both to laugh. "Maybe a little."
"Well, how about i sing a little song. I've heard it said, that people come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn and we are led to those who help us most to grow if we let them."
She continued singing the song until she neared the end.
"Because i knew you.
Because i knew you.
Because i knew you, i have been changed...for good."
Elizabeth looked at the sleeping Walker next to her.
"I thought that only happens in movies," A voice said from the doorway.
Elizabeth carefully crawled out of the bed and walked over to Idina, seeing Kristin smiling behind her.
"I did, too," Elizabeth answered with a smile.
They stepped into the hallway and quietly closed the door.
"Your story is, well, amazing!" Kristin said.
"That's one word to describe it," Elizabeth mumbled.
The three of them sat down on the couch.
"So, what about your best friend? Your Glinda? Where is she?" Kristin asked.
"She," Elizabeth gave a short laugh. "She is a seventh grade teacher at our old middle school. I saw her a month before the Super Bowl."
"What subject does she teach?" Idina asked, trying to get her to talk more. It was now, seeing how much her face lit up talking about her Glinda, that Idina realized how unhappy Elizabeth had been earlier.
"Reading."
"What's her name?" Kristin wondered.
"Her name? Her name is April," Elizabeth said.
"Is that just a coincidence? Your name is Elizabeth, my character from If/Then, and her name is April, her character from Glee," Idina pointed out.
"We never did figure that out," Elizabeth muttered.
"How about we go visit your Glinda!" Kristin suggested.
"Really?"
"Sure!" Idina agreed.
"Okay. Let's do it. It was bound to happen eventually!" Elizabeth said, getting up from the couch and into the kitchen. "Oh, and she prefers Glanda." She called before disappearing into the kitchen.
