"Welcome to 10tb grade" I remember the board said as I was walking into a new class for my first period. I remembered my teachers name which was Mr. Mullens he was hard on me, and sometimes picked me out of all the other students on purpose to do something, he knew I had trouble with. It was dumb things like, to make fun of me and become the cool teacher, because boy was he strict the problems became worse, and I finally went to the office to make sure I can change that teacher. When I got to the office, they allowed me to make the change, as long as I agreed to write a statement of why I would like to change. Once, I completed the paper statement I went to my new teacher who was Coach Gale, as soon as I walked into his room I remember him keeping me after class to talk to me. I remember him asking me if I was okay, and he could see I have broken things I never speak of, he told me it's better to let things out then to kept them in the closet. The way he worded everything, and kept me after class just to let me know I can talk to him no matter what really made me have much of a better day. I proceeded to my other classes and did my work, met my teachers when 3rd period bell rang it was time for A lunch to eat, Coach gale had the same lunch as me and talked to me most lunch days. After, school ended and it was time to go home I remember getting in the car and just thinking "wow since the beginning of 6th grade I've had a few teachers who have been such a life saver". I daydreamed about how life changing they have been, when I reach home my dad has had a bad day at work and takes it out on my mom arguing. Unfortunately for him, I defended my mom while he was trying to hit her after he pushed her on the Pringle machine, because they do machines. I remember all the names he use to call her, all the times he kicked her out without her purse, and all the times he left my siblings and I on the streets to go with her. I've always witnessed messed up situations which have always been life changing for me.
