How it all started

Yachi POV

"Good morning everyone!" yelled Daichi & Suga as the other team members walked into the gym.
I've been training to be a manager for the volleyball club, though it was not because I chose to. I was walking in the hallway during my lunch period. All of the sudden one of the upperclassman came up to me. She had long black hair and glasses and was extremely beautiful. She walked over to me and said, "Hi your Yachi right? I was wondering if you would like to come to one of the Volleyball club practices and watch them, and maybe even become a manager". Without even thinking I said yes, even though i have no experience with any sports at all. So that's why in here now, in the school gym at 5:30 in the morning on a Monday watching our school's volleyball club practice. Even though I've never watched volleyball, I could tell that our team was extremely talented.

"Hey Yachi, thank you for helping us study yesterday!", said Hinata & Kageyama as they ran in the gym. "Oh, n-no probably anytime!" I said cowardly back to them. See I'm not the most "confident" person, I'm more timid and shy and when most people talk to me I get nervous. But not as nervous as I get around her, Kiyoko Shimizu, also known as the beautiful girl who asked me to start coming to these practices. Whenever she's around I get this feeling, and as soon as she says anything I start to break down and panic, messing up my words and not making any sense. I've never felt this way before, I have no idea what this feeling is.

"Good morning Yachi!", says Kiyoko as she walks up and puts her stuff down next to me. "Oh i- um a-ah hi a-ah
K-kiyoko, i-i mean good morning!" I say back slurring my words. I hear her give a small giggle, and at that point, I melt in embarrassment. "KIYOKO-SANNNN!!!", yell Tanaka & Noya as they run toward Kiyoko. She quickly steps to the side and they miss her, falling on top of each other into the basket filled with volleyballs. Everyone starts laughing except for Noya & Tanaka, well, and their boyfriends. See everyone on the team was in a relationship, with another team member.

First, you have Suga & Daichi, the parents. Then you have Noya & Asahi, their polar opposites but they couldn't live without each other. Then you have Ennoshita & Tanaka and Kinoshita & Narita, they usually walk home and study together. Then Tsukishima & Yamaguchi, and lastly Kageyama & Hinata, they were kinda rivals in the beginning, but now they're inseparable and a big asset to our team. With them all being together practice can get a little, weird, but I've kinda grown to love it.

"Okay guys let's not goof around, let's start with some warm-ups!", yelled Daichi, trying to get the team to calm down from what just happened. But everyone was still laughing, which caused Noya & Tanaka to frown, while they walked over to the line, "Sorry guys!" said Noya & Tanaka in a bleak tone. I turned to see Kiyoko laughing, I just looked at her thinking "Wow how could she get any more beautiful?".
