The hours seemed to pass like seconds, and Izuku and Katsuki were back before you knew it. "Oh, doll~! We're back!" The shorter boy called as he opened the door. Katsuki stood behind him quietly, his arms crossed over his chest. You saw a hint of what you assumed was blood on the ash blonde's hands.

Izuku's knife was dirty, too. You wondered what they'd been doing. "Hopefully Shoto hasn't been boring you all this time." Izuku joked as he closed the door behind him and Katsuki. Shoto didn't seem to mind that comment. You shook your head. "H-He hasn't." You replied, still a little scared of them.

A soft smile came to Izuku's face. "That's good! I was worried about being gone for so long. Luckily Kacchan and I managed to get the job done faster than I thought." His tone was just the slightest bit sinister. You could tell. A slight shiver ran down your spine. Maybe you didn't want to know what they'd been doing.

Katsuki leaned against the wall, keeping his gaze away. Izuku got closer, studying your expression. "You're not still worrying about her, are you? I told you already, you saved her, doll." Izuku said softly in what you assumed was supposed to be a comforting tone. But was that the truth? Had you truly saved her? Or was this part of some elaborate trick?

It hurt to think about. Everything was so confusing. You didn't know what to believe. What to think. Your head spun. "Don't think about it too much, dear. You'll hurt yourself." Shoto mentioned, looking down at you. He must've figured that you were trying to figure things out. Your thoughts were muddled at this point, melting together. Nothing made sense. Then again, why would they?

Maybe Shoto was right. Maybe you should stop thinking about it. Maybe you should stop thinking. It'd be easier that way. But you couldn't do that. Your morals told you not to. You were a hero. You couldn't just give up like that. You weren't supposed to. But what other option did you have? You were alone here. No one was going to save you.

Just like how no one had saved Rena. She died here. Alone. Probably scared. Though she seemed like she'd left fear behind a long time ago. It was scary to think about. Would that happen to you? They said they wouldn't hurt you. That they wouldn't kill you. But was that true? Or was that another trick? Another way to get you to trust them.

"Doll, are you alright?" Izuku asked, leaning down to look you in the eyes. You snapped out of your thoughts. You nodded. "I-I'm okay.." You muttered, your voice weak. Your throat hurt. It felt like it was closing up. Like you might cry again. You didn't want to cry. You'd cried enough already.

If you showed vulnerability, it'd be easier to manipulate you. You didn't want that. Izuku seemed skeptical. "Are you sure?" He questioned. He seemed concerned, even if it was just an act. You nodded. The less you showed the better. You didn't want to give up what little resistance you had left. Even if you were close to cracking.

Maybe it was the fact that you didn't remember that got to you most. Not knowing how you got here. Not knowing what happened. "Doll, if you're upset you should tell me." Izuku said. His tone was more demanding now. You debated it for a moment. It was best if you didn't. Your silence only seemed to anger Izuku further.

Izuku looked like he was going to say something, but Shoto put a hand on his shoulder, giving him a knowing look. Izuku stayed silent. You wondered if something like that had happened before. Was that why Shoto had stopped him? What was Izuku going to do that was that bad? You figured it didn't matter too much. It wasn't something you should be worrying about.

Katsuki laughed from his spot leaned against the wall. Izuku sent him a venoumous glare. "What's so funny, Kacchan?" Izuku didn't say it like it was a question. His words were filled with venom, almost a sort of hatred. Surprisingly, Katsuki didn't lose his confidence and back down like he usually did. "You call me the animalistic one, but I can see that look in your eyes. You were about to do it again, weren't you?" He shot back, seeming smug.

That seemed to hit Izuku harder than it should. Do what again? "We don't talk about that." Izuku spat quietly, looking off. That only seemed to boost Katsuki's ego. "And why don't we? I know you remember it. If Shoto hadn't stopped you, you would've done it all over again~" Katsuki taunted, leaning forward just the tiniest bit. He hadn't moved from his spot, though. Probably for the best.

"What I did was necessary." Izuku kept his gaze away, his tone harsh. He was getting more pissed off. "We both know it wasn't. You do shit like that for fun." Katsuki replied. Shoto, however, stayed silent in this conversation. He had a knowing look in his eyes, though, so you assumed he knew what they were talking about.

"You weren't there, Kacchan, you can't be the judge of that." Izuku's hands were twitching a little. You backed up instinctively. You didn't want to be near him when he was like that. "Doesn't matter. I still saw what you did. She was your lover, Deku. And you betrayed her." Katsuki said, seemingly only to tick Izuku off more. It had definitely worked.

You stayed closer to Shoto. This was a conversation you didn't want to be a part of. "She was being too nosy. It would've been worse if I didn't." Izuku almost seemed like he was reassuring himself. Like he wasn't sure what he did was right. "Poor Uraraka~ betrayed by the person she loved most. She was only trying to protect you." Katsuki taunted with a smirk.

A flashback suddenly hit you. It was a brown-haired girl in what looked like an alleyway. Her body was covered in blood, disheveled. Her eyes were missing, and her jaw was dislocated. Her broken bones poked out of her skin in some places. She was wearing what looked like a hero costume. Her stomach was torn open and her intestines were pulled out on the concrete. You didn't recognize her, but you had to have seen this before. This was a memory, not a dream or a fantasy. You knew that this had to be real.

When you snapped back to reality, Izuku was standing. He was inches in front of Katsuki, holding a knife to his throat. "Don't you ever fucking say her name again. Don't you ever fucking bring her up again!" He shouted, his free hand twitching at his side. Katsuki was silent, looking between the knife and Izuku. "I did what I had to! The organization would've done worse. If I didn't... i-if I..." Izuku almost seemed like he had teared up, but it quickly went away.

"I saved her." Izuku said definitively. He seemed like he believed it. He backed up, flipping his butterfly knife closed and putting it back in his pocket. He sat against the wall near you and Shoto, seeming to have calmed down a little. Now you were only filled with more questions. Who was that girl you'd seen? What happened between Izuku and Uraraka? What did Katsuki mean by saying that Izuku had almost done it again? None of it made sense to you. Then again, you weren't sure you wanted to know.

These boy's secrets were far worse than you could've ever imagined.
