Chapter 9- Concern

When I had arrived home, I couldn't stop thinking about what Katniss had said to me. Was she really serious about that? The look on her face surely did seem like it. This is all so new to me, I don't know what these kinds of things mean. Serenity's more of a pro at this than I am. Maybe when she has the time, I can talk to her about this. She's a senior, would she really be more of a pro at this? I mean, a lot of things happen in highschool so she should be better at this, maybe not a pro, but she might know enough to give me advice. Seonghwa's back so she might not have enough time for me like she used to. She really likes him, and I like him too, he gets me presents. He sure has changed a lot though...I don't know, he just looks more mature. Definitely grew taller, stronger jawline, sharper too.

Suddenly, I started feeling vibrations. I looked down as it was just Hiro. I answered and said "What's up?" But before I can finish my sentence, he said "ARE YOU DOING OKAY??" I flinched at the sudden noise and said "Yes, I'm doing okay. Why do you ask?" Hiro sighed and said "You just looked really shaken up. I saw you speaking with Katniss. Did she say something wrong to you? You know I'll beat a bitch up. I don't care if I'm a boy, if she gonna disrespect you, she better be ready to disrespect me as well. I'll make sure she catches these hands." I could hear him snapping his fingers through the phone and I giggled. "I'm fine, Hiro." He pouted over the phone and said "I can tell when my best friend is lying. What did she say?" I brushed it off and said "Nothing, Hiro. If she did say something, you know you would be the first person I tell." "Now we all KNOW that's a damn lie, you always tell Sere first." I laughed and said "True, true. You would be the SECOND person I tell." He snapped his fingers and said "That's right, boo. Anyways, I'll let you go now. I just wanted to check on you, and if anything comes up, homework, tea, family business, you know how they are, whatever, just lemme know." He hung up before I could answer but I shrugged it off and decided to have some fun.

I changed into my pajama clothing. I set up my PS5, and what I mean by set up, I mean turned on. I went into the kitchen and got some snacks, mainly the Japanese snacks and some banana milk. (My dad buys me and my siblings separate packs). I went back into my room and put the snacks in a plate. I set up my table, got a beanbag chair, sat down, and started playing COD. Of course, none of these guys playing ever believe that a girl is on the server, acting like they have never seen or heard what a girl is. Like we are some sort of rare species. I usually do an anime girl voice, or, some people like to call it an UWU girl voice, just so I can mess around with them. Then I let them hear my real voice and it leaves them in shock.

Before dinner had come around, I brought Serenity into my room, with Seojun as well. Then sooner or later, the younger siblings wanted to know as well. So, now, it was more of a sibling meeting. I sat down on my beanbag chair, Serenity sat down by my desk, Seojun sat on the floor, and the triplets sat on my bed. I spoke "I mainly brought the older siblings here today to speak about something. Until the triplets wanted to join in." Serenity laughed and said "They can probably know. If it's too much for them, they know they have to leave." "Well, luckily, it's not too bad for them to hear." The triplets squealed with excitement and got ready to listen.

I started speaking. "There's a girl at my school. Her name is Katniss. I thought she was nice and wouldn't be a problem for me, but it turns out she is." Serenity nodded her head, and so did the rest of the siblings. "She was telling me things like can I just end the friendship that I have with Kai at the moment. For me to make up a lie, like I don't wanna be friends with him anymore. Of course I said no, cause like, I don't want to break his little heart like that." Serenity nodded her head and said "Okay."

I continued and said "She said she wanted to be the only girl in his life. That she wanted to become friends with him, then get closer to him to the point where they become best friends and probably rely on each other a lot. Then she wants to be his friend to the point where she can go to his house and meet his parents and his siblings. Then her plan is become his girlfriend. Of course I told her no, that I wasn't going to listen to her. Then I just walked over to Kai to try and get that off of my mind." Serenity spoke up and said "Sounds like she's probably going to start to manipulate you. Maybe do some things like make you her slave or try and humiliate you to the point that you would have no choice but to obey what she has to say. Sounds like she won't give up until she can reach her goal. Even going to the point where she will hurt you. But you know better than this. You're a Jeon. Remember that."

Seojun butted in and said "You're a Jeon, Janely. She can't intimidate you when you're in THIS family. By the time you get into your junior year, I think she might be the one taking orders from YOU, instead." I smiled and said "Yeah, she's not gonna get to me." Changha (the youngest) said "She sounds like a big meany. But trust me, Janely. She won't get to you. No matter how mean she is." He folded his arms with a little angry baby face. "You can't let her get to you." I ruffled his hair and said "I won't let her get to me, baby. Promise." He smiled and said "Pinky?" I nodded my head and wrapped my pinky around his. "Pinky promise." The twin sisters nodded their heads agreeing.

After our sibling meeting, the triplets had went to bed. Seonghwa went to her room with Seonghwa, and Seojun decided to stay up playing video games. I laid down in my bed and sighed. "Is she really going to try and manipulate me? I think she might even go to the extent of humiliating me in front of everyone in my class. Not even...the whole school..."
