Dear Reader...
... I know, I know, Authours Notes at the beginnings of stories are such tedious things to read and you probably want to jump right in, but I really want to share a few words before you enter the world of Never After High.
You see, I first wrote this book when I was just 10 years old. I stayed up late every night for a whole summer, clicking away under the sheets with that rush. It was the first published story I'd ever written. You can still find Poisoned Apple on my account to this day, and it's by far my most popular work.
I still remember the day I published it at 13 years old, laughing about how stupid it was. I thought it was a joke and nothing more - I had no idea that for the next 3 years, I would get Wattpad notifications about the book almost everyday. It was then, at almost 14, that I realized it wasn't just a silly fanfiction. It made me happy, and to me, happiness is one of the most important things a person can have.
Not that long ago, I was staring at the cover of it on my page when I decided to read it for the first time in years. And man, I won't lie to you - it sucked. But for a 10 year old, it wasn't too bad.
I'm a little old for Ever After High now, but I happen to be a CS Lewis/Narnia fan, and I've gotten to the point where I'm old enough to read fairytales again. In fact, I think it's time to write one.
So, without further ado, here is the new and improved version of Poisoned Apple.
