Chapter 3: Cleanse thy Dirt

Back when we were in our University days, both Evan and I were the top of our class that is why we both graduated earlier. Both him and Ian are the only one I could rely on. As soon as he got out of Uni his father passed the company to him. 

"You're at the right age to inherit this company, get along with the other executives"

"Ha! You make me laugh"

"You brat! Don't embarrass me!"

Evan stared at his father with his cold gaze.

"I'm actually amazed how you dealt with those trash throughout the years"

"You! What do you mean?"

"Ha! You, really is the definition of embarrassment" 

His father punched his face but it didn't faze him as he knew the company was in vain because of the corrupt executives. That day when he inherited the company he got rid of every nook and cranny of grimes doing some dirty shits behind.

Almost all of them got fired and got rid of, there is a lot of evidence of the executive's embezzlement and stealing. Since then he persuaded me to run and manage the company with him.

"Hey, can you work with me?"

"What's with you being insincere?"

"What? Do you want me to kneel and beg?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Ha! You're kidding. As if"

"What? You're the one who suggested that!"

"Just work for me"

"You really lack the sincerity you know. Well, I don't really have a job right now so i take the offer"

"Good"

"Man of the few words aren't we? By the way, have you asked Ian? He would be a good help too"

"I already did, and he accepted my offer"

"That's great to hear, looking forward to work with you"

"Looking forward my ass" *chuckled*

Since that day, I worked my ass out with him and with Ian Yoon as he is also one of the early graduates in our batch. The company made achievements after being managed accordingly. 

I had fun working with those two actually, even if Evan is being a bastard, he really cared for the company and everyone working for him since the corruption came to light, he had a hard time placing trust in those working for him but eventually did so.

"Ian! Let's have a party for Evan"

"Okay, let's go to the bar!"

"Did I even agree?"

"What? You're so stingy!"

"That's right Evan, let's just go"

"Okay, okay no need to push"

The three of us partied hard back then *sighs* but there are some things I don't really remember. Anyways, back to present, It's already time to get off work. I drove home and took a bath and some dinner before going to sleep. 

"As if! Since junior high, I've always had a hard time to sleep"

Knowing that, I didn't even bother for a consultation with a doctor or something for I believe it's just a waste of time, albeit all the things I've encountered in the past. 

"Bruh, I'm getting the chills just thinking about the past. Let's just try to fall asleep and count sheeps"

"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8….110 sheeps…Ahhh, I'm sleepy"

The next morning, there was chaos in the company right now, as Madellide didn't come to work.
