Prologue

My name is Grace Miller, you would think I'm just like any other 15 year old girl and for the most part I am, except that I have something special, something that only 0,7% of people on Earth have, magical powers. Yes you read that right, I'm a wizard, wizards exist, magic exists. Remember all those magical stories with dragons, unicorns, fairies, witches and wizards? They are all true, except it's not at all how you would think. Let me explain from the beginning.

A very long time ago king Leopald and Queen Idra had 2 beautiful twin daughters whom they named Lilith and Belle. They were always seen playing together outside laughing and sharing secrets. One time, on their 16 anniversary, a middle aged man named Otis showed up at their bedroom in the middle of the night. Both girls were fast asleep in their queen pink beds. Otis grabbed Belle while she was peacefully sleeping and started to take her away with him. Lilith woke up and saw the man carrying her sister in his arms, she started to panic and screamed. Suddenly a bright light coming from Lily's hands went straight to Otis, making him leave Belle and taking away Lilith instead. She was never seen again.

Her parents knew she was special but never decided to tell her since they thought it would only cause trouble. This event unlocked the question all had wondered for a long time, did wizards exist? The answer was yes but they lived on Earth pretending to be a regular person. The thing is that most children couldn't keep this secret since they didn't understand the consequences that would develop if people knew how powerful people could be. So Otis, the king of all wizards, decided to create a safe world for all wizards to live in. When the kids turn 16 they would do the most important test for all wizards that would determine if they are worthy of living on Earth and keeping their secret. They would go to live there with a family who would think and remember them as if they raised them from the very beginning, if they would be able to keep their secret, never expose magic and learn to live like a regular person, they would be able to decide if they wanted to stay there to live. At first nobody wanted to since they would be apart from their family so Otis and his people decided to create a portal that only wizards could see and that would go from Earth to my world, the Victoria Gomez.

You're probably wondering why my world is named after a woman, well you're going to find out because this is the story of how my world became The Victoria Gomez.
