A/N: to start, this one is going to heavily weigh in on a headcanon I have seen with Chloe, that she is trans, and this will be a theme that will be through all of these one-shots and drabbles. if you do not like that, please get off of my page xo

Every day where were people coming out, to friends, to family, to someone on an anonymous web board. Chandler Bourgeois had been there. He had only told one person in his life. His best friend Adrien Agreste. The two boys had been friends since they were little and practically inseparable at the hip. It was only natural for Chandler to tell him everything.

Seven years old. That was how old Chandler was when he knew he liked guys and not girls. and Adrien was the first to know.  His mom always off in other parts of the world, and his dad, when he learned, was the most supportive of his son. Everything was going right for Chandler. But things ended up changing a few years later.

Nine year old Chandler was sitting in therapy, only going to please his mother - who actually wasn't very supportive of her young son saying her was gay. His therapist never forced him to say anything he didn't want to say, they had a good relationship, and Chandler was able to open up to them, and one day something he had been holding in, not wanting to believe his own thoughts.

"I don't think I'm actually gay"  Chandler spoke softly. "It's like I do like guys... I have a crush on my best friend and I don't want to tell him and ruin our friendship, but it's more... I don't like how I look... I don't feel like me."  he picked at his fingernail as he spoke, "Like I might have been born into the wrong body."  Chandler couldn't look up at his therapist as he said these words. As soon as his therapist hear these words, she moved over to him.

"Hey, it's alright to feel that way. There are a lot of people who feel that way, that they are trapped in the wrong body. And there are ways to make it better for you."  Her words were calm and it helped Chandler feel like he wasn't alone.

After that meeting, Chandler was told to wait out in the waiting room, his therapist asking his parents to come in so she could speak with them. Chandler picked at his nails waiting, a nervous tick he had. Not even five minutes later, his mother was out, screaming some not very nice things, the one sticking the most with Chandler still to this day being, "my son is not gay, he's confused, and he is CERTAINLY not a girl! We are not coming back here, we'll find him a different therapist!" Chandler had to hold back tears as his father walked out, apologizing to everyone before getting Chandler.

The car ride home was quiet for Chandler, but his mother ranting about how this was not what was supposed to happen, that his therapist was supposed to fix him, make him normal. Every word his mother said, let tears roll down his cheeks. As soon as they were home, Chandler was already bolting out and upstairs, slamming his bedroom door. He hit his back to his door before sliding down and sobbed. There was no winning with his mother. He would never be what his mother wanted him to be. Nine years old, and having disappointed his mom time and time again. Whereas his father, was able to talk to him about this, and when his mother was out of town for long periods of time, he did whatever he could do to help Chandler, mostly letting the boy grow out his hair, wear makeup, and change up his style.

Right before Chandlers' tenth birthday, his hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and with his mom being home, he didn't have any makeup even if he really wanted to. He asked both of them to the living room for a family meeting. He didn't want his little sister, Zoe, to be there so he was glad she was up in her room.

After Chandler spoke for a few minutes, on how he was feeling, how he didn't like his new therapist,  but ultimately came out. "Mom, Dad...I know it's hard, I know you're not happy about what I'm going to say but I'm Trans. I'm a girl." Tears rolled down the blonde's cheeks, seeing the horrified look on her mother's face. "I...just know this isn't what either of you wants. You wanted a perfect son and I'm none of that." As soon as those words left, his mother stood up.

"No. You are Chandler, and that is what is on everything. You are just confused, sweetheart."

"Chloe," Chandler spoke softly. "Can you call me Chloe from now on? And say she or her" Chole didn't look up, she just saw her mom's heels click on the floor and walk out of the room. Her dad getting up and walking over to Chloe, kneeling to her level.

"I love you, Chloe." He pulled her into a hug, and that's when Chloe lost it more and started to sob into her dad's shoulder. "She hates me. She has always hated me, that's why she had Zoe, who is her perfect child now." She sobbed.

Her dad just rubbed her back soothingly "Everything works out for a reason, Chloe. She'll come around."

That summer, Chloe was able to visibly transition; keeping her hair long, starting to wear makeup, female clothes! She took hormone blockers so she would not start to have her voice deepen, and so she didn't start puberty. She left the previous school year as Chandler, and the next year she came back as Chloe.

This year, Chloe and Adrien were still the closest they had ever been, but things did get hard when the pre-teen couldn't keep her feeling in any longer.

They were sitting in his room just hanging out. He was playing a video game, while Chloe was sitting next to him watching between him and scrolling her phone. He was so in the zone and she was noticing all the small details about him. How when he was in the middle of a fight, his nose scrunched up, his head tilted slightly to the side. The light shining in hitting his bright green eyes. There was a lot Chloe had let out over the past few years, but her crushing on her best friend was the one she kept hidden for the longest time.

"Chloe, you okay?" Adrien asked, and she instantly snapped out of her thoughts. She nodded "yeah I'm fine." She mumbled looking away from him and back down at her phone.

A few more minutes passed before she looked back up letting out a small sigh. "Adrien?" She questioned softly. He paused his game and turned to look at her, and before he even said anything Chloe's lips were smacked into his.

Chloe pulled away sitting back on the couch realizing what she had done. "I'm sorry." Chloe started, feeling her heart start to race. "I just.. I've had a crush on you for years Adrien. like back when I was still Chandler. I guess that's why I felt fine telling you first that I was gay, and the first person besides my therapist and in turn my parents that found out I was coming out as trans. I never wanted to ruin our friendship over me trying to get into a relationship with you.."

Adrien was shocked, to say the least about what she said. "Chloe. I love you like you're my sister. I don't have the same feelings... I'm sorry." he placed down his Xbox controller before pulling her into a hug. "you're stuck with me for life though." He reminded her.

The blonde wrapped her arms around Adrien hugging him back. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I just can't lose you."
