I'm Ana Kim. I'm 23 and I've lived in New York City with my aunt since I was 16. I had to move here from Korea after my mom died and my father couldn't stand to look at me, since I look exactly like her. I was the only child out of my family that he sent away since my brothers didn't remind him of our mother. It was alright. I always loved my aunt like a second mother anyway. I miss my brothers and sometimes my dad but I wouldn't trade New York for the world. I have an amazing job at a little local boutique and the best friend in the world named Stella Ferraro, who works at the hotel down the street. I don't really want much in life I just want to be a fashion designer. I've been working so hard every day to finally get a spot as a designer at the boutique and nothing will get in my way. While Stella is chasing after boys and partying her nights away, I'm focused on living a quiet life. That's all I want.
