I walked down the street, the only escape from the darkness was the light coming from the scattered streetlamps. A single shadow lined the cape of darkness cloaking the old fence. I turned down a dimly lit alleyway, it was the quickest root back from the club, I'd been drinking minutes ago. I heard noises; a can rolled by my feet and I stopped dead. Feeling pressured by the dimming atmosphere i paced onwards, i stumbled a little from intoxication.
Strangely I felt as if I was being watched. My heart thumped aggressively in my chest. Someone is there, in the darkness. I could feel eyes following me, I was halfway down the alleyway, sweaty and breathless. I swallowed harshly before turning around. I glance only for a second, a second was all I needed to see the outline of a tall, broad man approaching me at an incredible speed. I cursed my feet to move, I need to run!
My foot barely leaves the ground before something grabs me with a painful grip. I gasped and struggled, violently thrashing my body, trying to get free. With ease the man grabs my hands in a crushing grip and plasters them behind me with a single hand. The other hand slammed onto my face, covering my mouth and silencing my screams. I could smell the sweat on the large man as he held me against the fence, pushing his body closer to mine.
Once again the sound of footsteps broke my muffled screams as another silhouette approached us, I tried to scream for help but was punished with a knee to my stomach. I groaned in pain and I pleaded desperately, that the stranger had heard my cries. Tears welled up and singed my vision, fear consumed me.
I regretted making any commotion as the second man approached, the man pinning me down acknowledged his friend and shared a few incoherent words before both of them encircled me and began making messy grabs for my clothes.
I had to do something, no I was granted the opportunity to do something. My eyes darkened and a sinister smile began to take shape upon my cheeks. A familiar feeling bubbled inside me that weird sensation in my stomach. I bit down on the mans palm and he let out a blood curdling scream as I bit off a mouthful of his flesh, blood poured from his hand and his grip on me was lost in his pain. Turning to the other man I spat the blood and flesh chunks on his face, his bastard friends blood smearing his vision. I laughed as the warm blood trickled down my chin.
I dogged a blind punch from the 2nd man and raised my own hands curling my palms around his neck and tightening my grip, I was now on top of him, his body writhed and he tried to scream but only a strangled gasp could be heard. I revealed a knife that had been hidden in the inside pocket of my black leather coat. I always carried this knife with me, after their deaths. It was my only comfort. I reached out and stabbed the man in his eye, twisting the knife which was now varnished with blood. My face ached with the vast smile stretched across my cheeks, a bloodied mad man smile.
I stood up off the man who was strewn actoss the cement. He screamed and howled in agony, clutching his face, his eyeball now hanging from its socket. He was pathetic. human scum! he deserved every ounce of pain he received. I turned to the other man who was trembling and shielding his eyes. He stood paralysed by fear, trembling. Silent tears creeped down his face, i felt no sympathy for this man nor any remorse for what I was about to do. I reached in my bag remembering the throwing knives I had brought with me. I brandished them and revealed the sharp edges of the knives to the man, His face was screwed up in pure terror and he fumbled about, with his mangled hand held close to his chest. He pushed himself up from his slumping stance against the wall. My eyes sparkled with eagerness of what I was about to do. Holding the first of my shiny ensemble I squinted one eye and drew my arm back before flinging the knife forward. He was moving slowly in his attempt to flee it felt almost too easy. The knife easily split through his leg, ripping the tendons and spilling blood all over the pavement.
He leant back against the fence, his leg skewered to the wood. His whole body trembled as he was imobolised. I brought out my second knife and plunged it into his other leg, stapling it alongside its partner. Another piercing scream shook the nights coolness and the sound of squelching and screaming filled any stillness. I was amazed no one had come to check on the noise...
I plunged knife after knife into each of his limbs, forcing him to be pinned up in a still motion picture. He was almost done and on the edge of passing out when I pulled my final throwing knife from the bag and stepped back from the near corpse. I pulled my arm back and lunged into my throw with a joyous deranged chuckle. Perfect I thought staring dead at the final knife which had cracked his skull and plunged deep into his brain. Blood covered his face in a veil, his blood was impure and sickly, trickling down off his still carcass.
One down. One left...
The man whose eye had been gouged out still layed quivering on the dirt. I walked slowly over to him. Each footstep earning a louder scream than the last. He was begging for help. Now beside his head I lifted my steel toe boot and landed it heavily against his skull. More screaming. Haha, this was so fun. I lifted my leg once more sure it would cave his skull into dust.
The mans shrill and trembling voice stopped me mid stomp.
His voice trembled as he gasped out, stupidly uttering to me
"wh-who are y-you?"
The smell of blood filled my nose. I exhaled and replied...
"I am james stephfield, your murderer"
I laughed mockingly at the mans terror filled expression.
Finally there was silence... the moon shone over me as I disposed of him. I stomped on his head over and over and over again...until the feeling was satisfied. I smiled down at my artwork, it was beautiful.
