Your new to me the city of Japan, you wanted to get away from your old life in America, so you applied for a assistant job, and luckily that you applied, you got a interview, you let the company know that you were in America.
The company was okay with it and even payed for your flight, how exciting you thought. New life in a new place. It's kind of scary but amazing at the same time, You said to yourself.
Three days later you're in Japan, In your new fully paid apartment. You settled in for the night, you had a big day head of you.
Your interview with the hero agency was tomorrow, you will be assisting the pro hero ground zero, you had no idea who that was. You weren't familiar with the hero's in Japan.
The next days comes around and it's 5:30 in the morning and your interview is at 7 you wanted to look nice so you woke up couple hours early.
By time you were done with everything it was 6:30, luckily the agency had a car out waiting for you.
"Wow" you thought "they're pretty generous with giving me rides and paying for my apartment and plane."
You shook your thoughts out and headed out to the all black car, some one stepped out and opened the back door for you.
"Isn't this a little extreme for just an assistant job." You said to the driver while making your way to the car.
"Not for ground zero it's not." You smiled at the driver and thanked him for opening the door for you.
"By the way, Keep your head up when it comes to that pro hero, he's not a good person. He may seem like it but in reality he isn't. Don't fall for anything."
This was super weird coming from his driver, "oh... and what does that supposed to mean?" You said with the sweetest voice.
"You seem like a good person, and you're one of many who has come and gone."
"What do you mean come and gone?" You said now with Curiosity in your voice.
"Many assistants has applied for the same job but never lasted a day with him."
You were shocked by all this, someone who buys your plane ticket and apartment can't be all that bad. You decided to give this "Ground Zero guy" a chance.
Upon arrival, you looked out your window, to see this huge building. You felt really small compared to it.
The driver gets out, and opens the door for you. You stood in front of the doors, panic starts to settle in. It was crazy leaving, what if I don't get the job, what if he really is a bad person. And I have to stick with it because I have no money to get back home.
You shook the negative thoughts out and walked in the building with your head held high, "I can do this." You said under your breath.
You walk up to the front desk. "I'm y/n and I'm here for the int..."
"Right this way y/n, we've been expecting you." The front desk lady took you to the highest floor, and lead you to this room that has big double doors.
"Just wait in here, pro hero Ground Zero will be right with you." She had this fake smile plastered on her face.
You started to get nervous, you checked your watch and it was 7 o'clock on the dot, "perfect right on time." You mumble.
A few minutes have pasted and still no pro hero. A few more minutes and a few more. Before you knew it it was 8 am.
You here someone yelling on the other side of the door before they walked in. Your back was facing the door so you couldn't see who walked in.
"Sorry I'm late y/n I had something very important to take care of." The pro said walking to his huge desk that was in front of you.
The first thing you notice was that, this man who was right in front of you was very handsome.
"So you're from America, why'd you come here." He had a very stern voice. Which was very deep and extremely sexy to you.
You clear your through "well I wanted a fresh start, I was looking for jobs and some how your add popped up. Which was weird because it was in Japan, but I applied anyway."
"Well as you know I'm Ground Zero, the number to hero, and you will be assisting me in what ever I need, but mostly you will be behind a desk. Any problem with that." He said finally looking up at you.
His piercing red eyes looked like they were trying to take your soul.
You smile at him "no problem with that, thats what I applied for Right." You stated
The pro gets up from his chair and walks to the double doors "follow me" you get up and followed him to a professional looking desk.
"This is where you will be, unless I call for you." The pro seemed distant with his words. Like he wasn't even here.
"I will show you around a little later but I have some business to take care of." You watch him walk away till he was out of sight.
You sighed and sat at your new desk. "So, what's your first impression on our number to hero." This guy said walking up to your desk.
He had spiky red hair, and he was really cute. "He's nice." The red guy chuckled "nice huh, that's new. By the way I'm red riot. The number four hero, but just call me Kirishima."
You reached out your had and he gladly shook it "I'm y/n Ground Zero's new assistant.
"Nice to meet you, did you by any chance see where Baku.. I mean Ground Zero went to." You point down the hall where he last was. "Thank you y/n hope to see you later."
Ground Zero seemed like a nice, but you remember what the pro's driver said. "he's not a good person. He may seem like it but in reality he isn't."
The only thing you noticed about Ground Zero is that he seems very distant, like he didn't want to be there. Maybe thats why the driver things he's a bad person.
A few hours has pasted and it was time for you to go home. You packed all your stuff and headed to the elevators. It seemed like you were the only one there.
When the elevator doors open Ground Zero was standing there. He didn't even notice you. He was reading something on his phone.
You decided not to make your presents known. "How was your first day." He said looking down at you.
"It was great, a lot of paper work but I don't mind."
He didn't say anything after that, the overwhelming silence broke when the elevator doors open. You walk out, before the doors could close the pro had manage to say "sorry I couldn't show you around maybe tomorrow."
The elevator doors had shut before you could say anything, but you couldn't wait for tomorrow.
