Early in the morning, Erik had left for the Russian military base with Charles, Moira, and other CIA personnel. They plan to catch Shaw there. But unfortunately, their plan failed at that time, but at least they got Emma who was Shaw's right hand. They then took Emma to be locked up in a CIA facility.
While at the CIA's Secret Research Base, Shaw and two of his followers, Azazel and Riptide, attacked the place. They aim to recruit the mutants that Charles and Erik had previously recruited.
"My friends, the revolution has come, the humans have found out about us," Shaw said, "I give you a choice, stay here and get slaughtered, or join me and live like a king." Shaw offered.
"Or maybe a queen," said Shaw looking at Angel, "Ooh.....or maybe a little prince," said Shaw, he stared at Pietro who was hiding behind Raven.
"I never thought you were still alive, little Lehnsherr," Shaw grinned.
"You stay away from him!" Raven advanced to block Shaw from approaching Pietro.
Shaw then stepped back and approached Angel, he gave his hand inviting her to join. And unfortunately, Angel agreed to join. Everyone tried to stop Angel and it ended with Darwin's death.
Erik and Charles had been informed that the CIA's Secret Research Base had been attacked by Shaw. They hurried back to the CIA base. Erik was worried about Pietro, he thought what if Shaw had taken his son again, what if his son was injured and he wasn't there to protect him. Erik is getting worried because he couldn't stop thinking about his son. Until finally they arrived at the CIA Base.
"Pietro....." Called Erik.
"Papa!" Pietro got down from Raven's lap and ran and hugged Erik.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Erik asked worriedly. Pietro shook his head and answered.
"I'm fine"
The CIA base was badly damaged and it was no longer possible for the Mutants to live in. Many members of the CIA also died in the attack last night.
Erik said that they must take revenge for all the damage and losses caused by Shaw. Charles didn't agree with Erik's words about revenge, but he knew Shaw had to be stopped, and only they, the Mutants, could stop him.
Charles took the Mutants to his home in Westchester. His house was big enough to be a training ground for Mutants and at least that was more than enough for now.
"This is yours?" Sean asked.
"No, it's Ours," said Charles.
"Woahhh this is so big !!" Pietro said in awe of Charles's house, he had never seen a house that big. He couldn't wait to enter it.
Charles laughed seeing Pietro in awe of his house.
"Do you like it? You can play as much as you want here" said Charles
