Four days later, Thursday
"Can I please show up to work? I promise I'll stay in the office with Mouse." Danielle asks Al from their cozy bed she's still in, watching him get dressed for work. "Baby, just think of this as some time off that you can enjoy." He says with a smirk, amusement clear in his voice and on his facial features as he looks at her in the mirror right before he pulls on his shirt. "I'd enjoy it more if you took off that shirt and came back to bed." She says with a hopeful smile as he turns to look at her while walking towards the foot of the bed. "As much as I'd absolutely love to, micetta," He says in lust as he puts on his shoes while sitting at the foot of the bed, "I don't think I get a free pass. Me and the guys gotta make sure everything is sanitized by the health people who're visiting today and help Trudy with some supplies Med is sending over for our district." "But I won't get to see you or Tonio or Hank all day until after work! And I know you three are gonna look so good lifting heavy stuff and I won't be able to touch your musclesssss!" Danielle sighs as she covers her face with his pillow, groaning into it for dramatic affect which makes Alvin chuckle as he looks at her. It's silly moments like this that he lives for, but any moment with his girlfriend is a moment to look forward to in his eyes. He stands up and walks to her side of the bed, uncovering her face to find her smiling. Leaning down a bit, he kisses her lips, going in for a second one before pulling away entirely. "Don't forget to take the hand sanitizer bottle we bought yesterday, please." She tells him, twirling a few of his curled hair ends between her fingers. "I won't." He says with a smile before giving her a third kiss. "You better not. It was the only one we found." She says with a soft laugh, tucking his hair behind his ears before he straightens up and puts on a cap. "I love you, baby." "I love you too, handsome. Oh, wait, don't forget the B12 vitamins for you, Hank, and Antonio!" She calls out behind him as he leaves the room, the sniper hurriedly sitting up in bed while pulling the covers off of her. Hearing some noise in the kitchen before it goes silent, Al shows up at the bedroom doorway, sanitizer bottle and vitamin boxes in his hands as Danielle walks up to him, subtle worry in her eyes. "We'll be careful, I promise." He tells her softly. "I trust you. Also, can I have another kiss, please?" Without hesitation, their lips meet for a fourth kiss, lasting longer than the other ones. "If you keep kissing me like that, I'm going to be really late, jellybean." He tells her after they've pulled away. "Just one more." She says with a smile, tiptoeing to kiss him one last time for now. "I'll lock the door. Go ahead and get back in bed." He tells her, watching her walk back to the warm covers, an extra bit of sway in her step. "Baby." He groans with a smile, knowing what she's doing. "Did it work?" She asks with a shy smile. "Of course, but I'm still gonna go to work." "Don't think of last night too much!" "Just for that, you better pray I leave you being able to walk tomorrow, cupcake!" He tells her as he walks to the front door, hearing his girlfriend laugh a bit. "I love you!" She says from the room. "I love you more!" He says with a smile before walking out onto his porch and locking up behind him.
~45 minutes later~
"This desk needs to be sanitized first." Hank tells some health officials who have just walked into the office with many cleaning supplies, the Sargent pointing to Danielle's desk. "Yes, sir. You take the desks, I'll start marking and taping 6 feet distance." One guy says to the other, both beginning on their tasks. "We'll need for you all to move some stuff around in order to have more space between everyone. Is that alright, Sargent?" The second man asks, Hank putting the boys help move stuff around when needed. He, Antonio, and Al stand in the break room to be out of the way. "How was she this morning?" Antonio asks Al who smiles a little bit. "Let's just say I almost showed up late. Keyword: almost." Al answers, explaining how it went. The three are on good terms now after what happened between Antonio and Hank a few days ago. Hank had apologized to Danielle again after Al talked more sense into him without their girl or Dawson knowing, which made Voight understand why Dawson and Olinsky were pretty angry at him. "I would've given in." Antonio says with a chuckle. "Trust me, I wanted to. Really bad. She looks so good wearing our clothes, and her own, of course. I could just live between her thighs, they're so damn soft and plush, oh and her hip dips....the Lord knew exactly what-" "Okay, Al, take a breather." Hank says as he pats his best friend's shoulder, the three of them laughing a bit at how ahead of himself Olinsky got. "Hey, Al, where'd you get this sanitizer bottle? I went to buy some and almost got knocked around in the aisle because people were swarming the shelves." Adam asks as he walks into the break room, holding said bottle. The three men go from smiling a bit to very well pretending they weren't privately talking about the sniper. "Got it at a market. Was the last one." Al answers softly. "Oh, okay. Also, boss, where's Danielle? Did she have an appointment or something? She's never late and it's almost 9." Adam asks Hank, Kevin joining his partner after hearing Rodriguez's name. "Is she okay?" Kevin asks in worry. "She's fine. Today's her day off, so to say. Gave her an order to stay home while we set up things here so we're all as safe as possible." "Well, she's gonna have to buy her own sanitizer because I already touched this one. Also, why did she buy you vitamins and not me? Does she want me catching this Covid thing?" Adam jokes with a laugh as he takes the bottle to Mouse's desk, the boys gathering around it to get some. Al quickly takes a picture of what's happening before the boys start getting chatty and start horseplaying around the health officials who already seemed annoyed with the bunch. He sends the picture to their girl in the four's group chat.
Danielle has just finished watching her third episode of 'Baking Championship' while some laundry dries when she feels her phone vibrate, the screen lighting up. Quickly muting the television, she clicks on Al's message, the picture of Jay, Mouse, Kevin, and Adam swarming the Germ-X bottle at Gerwitz's desk coming into view before she reads the caption:
