You Were Always The One (Jai Brooks Love Story)

Chapter One

"HAHAHA!! JAI STOP IT!!" I screamed with laughter as Jai splashed me with water. "You're going to have to do more than that to stop me Charlotte!" Jai laughed to himself as he picked me up and threw me back into the water. I couldn't stop laughing! Just as Jai was about to throw me back into the water again Luke came rushing to my side. "I think it's my turn now. You better run Charlotte!" I quickly ran out of the water and onto the hot sand with Luke and Jai chasing after me. I felt the sand burning underneath my feet as I ran to where all our beach stuff was. I quickly grabbed a towel and dried myself off. "That's enough now guys, you've both made me exhausted!" I told Jai and Luke as they both walked towards me. "Next time then!" Luke teased as he winked at me. I rolled my eyes and smirked at him. "Where did Taylor and Daniel go?" Jai asked. "I think they went to go to the toilets, they should be back soon." Luke replied. "Come on we better go find them!" I said nudging over to the direction of the toilets. "Yeah, BEAU! JAMES! COME ON WE ARE LEAVING!!" Luke screamed out to the boys who were still in the water. Beau and James came running out of the water and dried themselves off. We all packed up our things and began to go and search for Daniel and Taylor.

We reached the toilets after around 5 minutes of walking. They weren't very far from the beach. I went into the Women's toilets to search for Taylor and Beau went in the Men's to find Daniel. I walked into the Women's toilets and found Taylor washing her hands. "Hey! When did you disappear? We were all looking for you!" I told her. "Sorry Charlotte, Daniel wanted us to go for a walk to 'talk' and then I really needed to pee so we kind of took longer than expected." Taylor said as she started blushing. "Haha, Well what did you guys talk about?" I asked, curious as to why she was blushing. "Daniel finally asked me to be his girlfriend! I'm so happy Charlotte!" she said with a massive grin on her face. "About time!! He's been crushing on you forever! Well congratulations! You guys will make the cutest couple!" I gave her a hug and smiled. She smiled back. "Thanks Charlotte! Don't worry; it won't be long till you get a boyfriend. I see the way Jai drools over you!" she said to me with a cheeky smile as she winked. "Taylor, how many times have I told you? Jai and I are just friends. Nothing more." "Yeah well you've known each other practically since birth! You guys are best-friends." "Taylor that doesn't mean anything will happen and yes, we are best-friends JUST best-friends." "Whatever, don't say I didn't warn you!" she said with a cheeky grin. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the toilets, leaving Taylor fixing her very curly hair in the mirror. "Don't worry guys I found Taylor, she'll be out in a minute." "Okay good." Jai said. "Find Skip?" I asked Beau. Just as Beau was going to talk I saw I pair of hands cover my eyes. "Guess who?" someone whispered in my ear. "DANIEL!" I laughed as he brought his hands away from my eyes. "Good girl!" he said as he smiled. I laughed.

After Taylor finally came out of the toilets, we all went to go get an ice cream. We all chose our flavours and payed the women at the register. We were all walking along eating our ice creams when Skip grabbed Taylor's hand. They were the cutest couple, walking hand in hand. It was so cute. "Oh, so it's finally official now is it?" Beau said walking up to Taylor and Daniel who were ahead of us while putting his arm around Daniel. Taylor was blushing and so was Daniel. "Yeah, I guess it is!" Daniel said as he leaned in and kissed Taylor lightly on the cheek, which made her blush even more. Luke and Jai were both whistling at them next to me as I started laughing. "Well, Congrats!" Beau, Luke, Jai and James all said to Daniel and Taylor. "Thanks guys!" Taylor said happily. Daniel smiled at her. "We better get going now, mum will probably be getting dinner ready and Naomi and Danielle will be waiting for James and Luke." Jai said. "Yeah, fair enough!" I smiled. "Come on guys! Let's go!" Jai yelled out to Beau, Taylor and Daniel who where in front of us.
